Screw this. My inspiration/motivation is failing me hard core. I've got one project (minor) that really needs to be finished in 10 days, and my standard stuff.. and neither is being deal with sad

At the moment, the only thing I want is voice recognition software that is intelligent.
Seriously, the one I have is not very bright.

I HATE voice recognition software. Supposedly, you can train it and make it decent.
I've never gotten it to work.

I loved the last time I ran into voice anything on a computer.. it was supposed to open programs on demand. Command it to open writer, half an hour later, the computers voice announced it was opening internets... 5 mins after, without encouragement "shutting down computer"
We took great delight in playing with it but a day later, it got disabled.. and I should be writing.. I have a letter for a roleplay to deal with.

My day:
Wake up
Get coffee
Check on forums to see if anything interesting happened (usually, that's a no)
Realise I'm running late!
Get ready for work
Find out I wasn't running late and I made it ONLY JUST!
Have another coffee
Attempt to work (btw, mid winter and our heating's royally ********.. you have no idea what that implies until you try typing whilst your fingers are freezing to death!)
Open up OO Writer and stare blankly at.. well.. its not the work I get paid for biggrin (That's where I'm up to today)
Deal with random people at work
Go back to staring and reading forums and generally doing everything to avoid doing useful things.
The rest of the day is a haze of coffee, phone calls, random work, one paragraph of creative writing.. maybe.. lots of useless posts and then there is food and family and guildwars..

No, don't have one of those.. I'm in charge of my own coffee. Instant coffee is Moccona, perculated is Melita. Neither are provided by the work place, but that just means more for me biggrin
