Sprite lay there for a few moments more as he watched the dead animal roll on the ground some from Red's toss. He really needed that meal. And with a sniff he picked himself up and slowly dragged it away from Zero. It wasn't really a big kill and he didn't need to drag it off since Zero offered it up to him. But he felt angry and needed to ream in the point that the black wolf was an omega and nothing else. So with a quick look back he made a feeble growl to signify it was his and he wouldn't be sharing.
Though it was kinda funny how he almost forgotten how to eat animals because of the way he'd been starving himself. He now had his back to Zero so he couldn't see his failed attempts to peal off the skin. Or his feble attempt to get any of the meat off the bones. He honestly spent more time fustratedly playing with it then he did consuming it. Finally after a good long while he just gave up and hid it so his sister Red wouldn't worry about him. His stomach gave another loud grumble. Like she wasn't going to notice the freshly dug dirt pile next to him and the lack of body parts at his feet. He sighed to himself. He was such a pathetic excuse for a wolf.

Zero shook his head as he watched his nephew, it was hard to pretend not to notice that the younger wolf was having troubles. It was ever harder knowing the boy would let the food go to waste. He waited a bit and frowned as Dew tried to bury the rabbit.
"Asking for help wouldn't kill you, and I wouldn't take it from you...in the condition your in." He added the last part softer, with mild concern. For starters he loved his nephew and watching him waste away was almost painful. Secondly if Sprite reunited with the rest of the family any skinnier Cola would have his hide for not taking care of her precious angels.
Ha! That was a laugh, as if he could get his niece and nephew to listen to him. Cola was his little sister and he had ended up taking all his orders from her, her children were no different, as rigid and stubborn as their mother.

The stubborn femme had taken off after tossing the rabbit down, it was getting darker with every minute and she would prefer her brother and, that infurating, uncle in a den that they could, if nothing else hold down.
She was obvious to Sprite's lack of eating the kill, but then again, Sprite didn't eat much or often as it was. As she searched, she worried about her brother, mother would kill her if anything happened to Sprite or Zero for that matter.
As Red moved between a few more trees she reeled in her anger and figured she could, possibly, give an appology to half of what she had snapped at Zero. Yes, he might have been the omega out of the family, but he was still blood and, away, from the others her hard exterior broke up and she sat down in the middle of her path.
She was just exhausted as the rest of them, maybe more so from always keeping her head up high in her rank and doing everything she could to make sure it was perfect and better then requested from her parents. Pride was her burden and she didn't want anyone else knowing what she thought, so that was why she stuck with the rules like she did and never showed this side around her family.
No instead to insure no one would see this part of her, this vile soft spot, she would take off at night and come back before anyone awoke. Or so was her constant plan, if nothing else she always brought back something in her jaws.
Ruby gems looked up and she saw a darker void in the shadows and realized that it happened to be the opening to a small cave. Jumping up Red dashed to the cave, it was vacant, the lingering scent gave way to a sell the fact a group of foxes had resided in the small space. Small, but big enough for the trio.
Turning around Red headed back to where her brother and uncle were. She took a small detour to kill a racoon and then reappeared back in the clearing. The racoon would be her non-verbal appology to Zero, as she had done in the past with other explosions.
