Hayne just paused for a moment. Missed. Prince missed! Was that even Pokemonly possible? Probably not but it just happened. Man, they were lucky.

"Swablu this is your chance! Use Ice Beam again!" he shouted to the little bird Pokemon.

Now only if they didn't screw up their last strand of miracle given from Arceus itself.

"Prince! AERIAL ACE! BREAK THROUGH THE ICE BEAM!" Luna commanded to her pidgeot. They HAD to make this last shot.

"GEOOOOOOO!"

Prince caught himself as he fell and with one wingflap, was back on corse towards the swablu. His beak glowed, meeting the ice beam straight on. With a small and quick lastminute tailwind to boost his speed, Prince cut through the icebeam and towards the bird pokemon with a frozen beak but a determined mindset.

Swablu came crashing down, finally fainted. She fell onto the fire-proof net below and Hayne jumped down to retrieve her. Swooping Saige up like a baby and made his way towards Luna.

“Uh, hey, it was a nice battle Luna.” he said after a while, not really quite sure what to say in his position.

He stuck out his right hand towards her. His left hand holding Saige up against his chest.

Luna fished out Prince's pokeball and held it out towards the pidgeot. A red ray of light shot out and hit Prince, sucking him back into the device. Luna clutched the ball. "Good job you flirt." She said affectionatly before turning to face Hayne.

"Uhh...you know, I would shake your hand buuuut..." She glanced at the lava that stood in between the pillars. "I kinda can't hop all the way there. Sorry~It was a good battle though!" The trainer added before turning around, giving a slight backwards hand wave.

"See you later!"

"Jerk." Hayne muttered under his breath. He was willing to jump and shake hands and be a good sport and there was a fire-proof net! But fine. Stupid, stupid Luna. He had to go to the Pokemon center anyways. Now where's the exit to this thing?

Hayne looked down at Swablu. He smiled and said, "We did good for our first battle."
