Luna suddenly had an emphiphany. "I have a HAT!" She exclaimed, reaching over to her back and pulling her straw hat over her head. Her vision got a bit better.
ChuChu was faring much worse. A raindrop had just fallen directly into her eye, temporarily blinding her.
Luna saw the shape of Astrel approaching her raichu. "WATCH OUT CHUCHU!"
The raichu did not hear her though, the rain had nearly killed her valued heightened senses. She felt something sharp claw her on the face and made a grunting sound. The wound stung and another one was just about to follow up.
"Dynamic punch, right infront of you!"
ChuChu closed her eyes, deciding to trust her trainer. She brought back a fist and punched forward to the space infront of her towards her invisible attacker while the sentret managed to land another scratch on the other side of her face.
"CHUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

Cassadaine was too busy trying to wipe her eyes, to hear much of Luna's exclamation though her attention snapped back to the match as a faint glimmer in the curtain of rain caught her attention. That faint glimmer however, she knew was a cause for concern.
"Astrel! Watch yourself!"
Her warning however was too late to save the sentret from the blow that caught him squarely in the stomach as he sought to get another hit in with his claws.
Groaning the sentret was tossed back into the mud, adding to the water and filth already on his coat. Struggling to his feet, he shook his head, in a vain attempt at getting most of the water of out of his fur and ears.
"Hang in there Astrel! Slam!"
The water and overall beating he had received was starting to take its toll and it was growing obvious that the sentret was beginning to feel the fatigue more than ever. Despite this he bounded forward with a cry, whipping his tail around as he drew nearer to ChuChu.

The raichu's trainer was currently hopping on one fit, attempting to get water out of her ears when she heard Cassadaine's next command. Slam. Probably with sentret's tail again. She knew she would have to meet force with force. "ChuChu! Dynamic punch once more!"
ChuChu forced herself to open both eyes, dispite the stinging from the rain. She focused on Astrel's tail and brought back her fist again to charge it for another punch. ChuChu punched.
With nearly flawless timing, the two attacks met headon. The raichu was pushed back some by the attack, but still held her ground and pushed back as hard as she could to toss the sentret backwards.

The pushing and shoving between the two attacks seemed to go on forever, until the sentret was finally thrown back with a cry. Struggling to his feet again, Astrel gave one last defeated cry as his legs gave out and he crumpled into the muddy expanse.
It took Cassadaine several moments before it finally sunk in that she'd lost the battle. Her first battle...and she'd lost. Shaking the rain from her eyes and hair, she pulled Astrel's pokeball from her pocket with a sigh.
"You did well, Astrel."
Once the pokemon was safe in its pokeball more or less, she grabbed her bag swinging it over her shoulder. Her first lost...interesting. The thought brought a smile to her lips before she turned to face Luna.
"I must say that was a pretty intense battle. But you did well with training your raichu...and battling under conditions like these." She shrugged lightly, "Maybe when I train Astrel some more we can have a rematch...?"

The downpour calmed down to a slight drizzle. ChuChu panted a bit to catch up on her breath, but the battle was less tiring than her other battles. Was she getting stronger?
"Good job ChuChu!" Luna called out to her pokemon. ChuChu perked up.
"Chuuu~Chu!"
Shaking off the water on her fur (which resulted in water splattering everywhere), ChuChu dashed back to her trainer's arms. Of course, this caused BOTH of them to get wetter because Luna did not survive the monsoon with dry clothes. The girl laughed at the wet ball of fur in her hands and hugged it.
"Thanks! And thank you for having the battle with me!" She responded to the other trainer. "And I'll be looking forward to that rematch~" Luna added before making her way out of the stadium, walking backwards and waving to the trainer on her way out.
