"Fun? I converse with others and, occasionally, keep tabs on my three... Companions." It took a moment for him to find a suitable word for Scarlett, Weiss and the one whose name none spoke. "As for hobbies? I tend to find myself looking after... Well, I suppose you could say that I watch out for the well-being of others. Odd, I know, but I find eating habits fascinating."

Her tail flicked behind her casually, "It's okay, I get called odd all the time." she smiled nonchalantly as she caught eyes with him. "What makes you want to watch out for others?" she asked. She too cared for others well being, she just didn't know how much. She came from a great line of soquili on both sides, she didn't know what she was capable of....but the days were growing repetitive.

"Mm... Let's just call it a bit of my nature." He nodded slowly, just barely managing to keep himself from smirking. "It is something that I've done for as long as I remember; as if it's built itself into who I am."

"Oh," she responded, for it was all she could think of. She didn't know why, but she thought it odd that he looked over others but also something about it intrigued her. She watched over foals, because they needed watching over. They were young and were unknowing of the dangers that lurked in the shadows. Even simple Eve, knew not much of those same dangers. Her heart was in the right place though. She had encountered nothing horrible within her lifetime, no catastrophic event. "I'm considered odd, and aloof." she started. Her eyes looked to him honestly, "Nothing is really natural to me or my nature, so to speak." she added. "Sometimes I think I'm here...just to exist." she replied and concluded, she winced at the thought. She sighed softly, as she thought of herself and what she had accomplished in her lifetime on this Earth.

"Ah, but you see... That could very well be where you are wrong, you know." He nodded slowly, taking a step closer to her. "Perhaps your nature itself is natural to you, even if it is not natural to others. We all have our own... Quirks, you see; things that make us who we are that none other can claim to possess. Things such as that are of our nature... Even if it is a rather unnatural one."

She looked at him and her mouth twisted, "Yeah, but not everyones quirks get them labeled different." she replied. She wished she could act like the rest of them, or maybe fit in. Until then she would stay with her family, grandparents, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles. Whatever it took just to feel like a part of something. She looked at him more honestly, "What are you doing all the way out here anyways?"

"I?" His brow lofted slightly as he turned his head to look at her. "I am doing a bit of wandering while waiting to rendezvous with a companion of mine. We had a bit of a wager going on when we last parted ways, you see... Nothing all that interesting, mind you."

See when he said not that interesting, it made her interested. If he just left that part out the wheels in her mind wouldn't be spinning out of control at the moment. Her eyes seemed to brighten a little as a light smirk spread upon her face. "What kind of wager, I'm interested still." She blinked nonchalantly as she did a little shuffle with her feet as she watched him intrigued.

"We were trying to figure out when the world would end." He chuckled, knowing that something such as that could be easily laughed off. He often laughed about it himself, actually, even if it was something that he and Weiss discussed often. So far, though, there had been no signs of it happening. After all, Scarlett hadn't bred yet... "I told you it was nothing interesting. The world is far too young to find itself ending any time soon."
