“We don’t know but it doesn’t matter, I love him like my own.” She looked back the way she came. “Huh, O yes he likes snow or at lest he did as a rina.” Relysing she was being rude she blushed. “I’m sorry, I know its silly he’s not a rina anymore but I still worry when we’re apart.”

He shook his head as she spoke of worrying about the boy she called her son. “ It’s not silly, not at all. It’s completely understandable that you’d worry about you little one event if he is no longer little. ” He’d never had rina’s of his own, but he knew he would worry about them when he did. Just like she was now.

Rain laughed slightly. “I doubt he’d fill that way.” She looked at him shyly. “Would you like to go for a walk with me? We could go to the tide pools, there are lots of caves near there. I’m sure it would be cooler then standing here.”

“ Oh? ” He looked to her now and blinked a few times, thinking about her offer. Slowly she stood using his tail to brush the sand from himself. “ I think that sounds look a good idea, could be fun. ” Taking a few steps to the side he gathered his hat onto his head and wrapping the green and red scarf around his neck. Looking around for his broom and pipe.

Rain watched him confused. She got up and looked around too. Spotting a broom handle she walked over to it. There lay a broom and pipe. “Is this what your looking for?” she asked Frosty.

Looking over to where Rain stood and then down to her paws he chuckled a little. “ That’s them alright. ” Moving to her side he used his tail to lift up the pipe and place it in his mouth before lifting the broom as he had the pipe. “ If my head wasn’t attached I’m loose it all the time too. ” He chuckled a little again. " Shall we then? " He looked to Rain making a sort of bowing gesture for her to go first.

Rain giggled in surprise. “I doubt you’d really lose your head.” Shaking in silent laughter she nodded. “This way,” she said heading off down the beach. Looking back at him she grinned. “Lets stay as close to the water a possible.”

Frosty nodded at her comment as well as he turned to follow her down the beach. “ You’re probably right but it so often feels like I would. ” He laughed, silently this time before he turned his gaze over the water for a moment. He enjoyed the ocean. The crisp scent of it and breeze and the view. Looking to Rain again he quickened his pace so he walked at her side now, glancing at her now and then. “ How far are these tide pools? ” He'd never ventured to far beyound his home or that small section of beach before so this area was all going to be new to him.

"Not far, just past that bend in the cliffs." She walked happily in the shallower water letting the waves lap at her paws. She grinned as the smooth sand started to turn rocky. “Almost there,” she said excitedly.

He looked over at her as she spoke to him and noticed her excitement. He smiled at this as he watched her walk through the warmer water on the shore line. He didn't know why but he felt drawn to this female, he liked her. She was friendly and kind. She hadn't pointed out his odd features or bugged him at all.
Looking forwards again as they came around the rocky bend in the shore he was in awe. The landscape here was beautiful. The half full tide pools glistened in the sun light, a shinny reflection showing on the rock face behind then. “ Wow, this place is wonderful. ”

Rain nodded her head. “It is,” she said grinning, “lets see if we can find a starfish.” Walking around the tide pools staring into them looking for her starfish she started to think. ‘I think I like him and I’m sure Diamond will to. Its refreshing to find a male that doesn’t think I should have left Diamond to fend for himself.’ She looked up from the pool and smiled softly at Frosty.

Going around to the opposite side of the tide pool that Rain was on she looked into the sparkling water. He’d never seen a star fish before but he had a vague idea of what it was he was looking for. Shifting her eyes to look upwards at Rain he smiled before at her before moving over to the next tide pool. Spotting something in the pool he moved close to get a better look. Lifting a paw and pointing at the star shaped creature, yellowish orange in color and somewhat lumpy looking on the surface. “ Is this a star fish? ”

Rain walked over to where Frosty was and looked at what he was pointing at. “Yep, that’s a starfish,” she said grinning happily. Next to the starfish was another of Rain’s favorite sea life. “See that spiny thing there, that’s a sea urchin. I love the tide pools, there so full of life.” She watched the pool a little longer before continuing to the next. "O," she exclaimed suddenly, "a fish."

Again he moved closer to the little pool as Rain pointed out the sea urchin. He squinted a little and grinned slightly as he saw the outline of the creature. “ That’s an unfriendly looking little critter. ” Turning he looked over to where Rain had gone as she announce that there was a fish. Walking over to her side she looked down at the fined animal. “ A meal maybe? ” He knew he enjoyed fish a lot but he wasn’t sure how she’d been about eating it.

Rain regarded the little fish swimming in the tide pool. “I don’t think it would be more then a mouthful.” She looked up at the sun trying to judge the time. She frowned when she noticed how high it had become. “Well that explains the increase in tempter.”
