I don't remember what game it was, but I had played three full hours without saving and killed at least two bosses and I was so close to seeing the cutscene I'd waited for and then...the power went out.
I was so PISSED!

Rulin' ya universes... Cutscenes that you can't skip. Like in Crisis Core. Especially when the PSP you've stolen borrowed from your brother is broken and has a wonky battery that keeps dying. AGONYYYY D:
...since 1992.

I adore Crisis Core's cutscenes. They are win unless something like that is happening.
I don't know if I said it but dungeons on Tales of Symphonia have to be the most frustrating thing ever. Especially Shadow's. I had to start over because of that.

A little explanation first. In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (MM from here on), you have to replay the same three days over and over. The only way to permanently save is to go back to the first day; there are Owl Statues that create suspend files, but you lose those if you don't save again.
I was on the last temple and needed to reset time midway through. I came back, beat the temple, and went straight for the final boss. It didn't go well and I ended up turning off the N64.
About two seconds later I remembered that I didn't have a permanent save since midway through the last temple and that I would have to go and beat it AGAIN.
My younger brother resetting my Pokémon Yellow file with an almost complete Pokédex was also pretty frustrating.

I hate bad camera angles. It's horrible to die by the hands of an enemy you never even saw.

I think the one can think off right now... oh 2
I was playing Golden Sun, and I was stuck in some cave or such, I was over at the boss that kept killing me. After many tries I finally beat him... to have my sp's battery die instantly... stare
Klonoa 2 for PS2, I was so happy, I had beaten a lot of the game... suddenly the light went out... and somehow, all my memorycard's data went poof...
There are more tho, I just need time to remember

I've had the original Trauma Center for DS almost since it first came out, whizzed through almost the entire game - RIGHT up to the final level - in about 2 months. Since then, I have NEVER been able to beat that damn thing crying

I was about a month, most likely even more on the last stage. I got it when it came out...

Most frustrating thing is when you're fighting several ridiculously tough bosses consecutively, with no savepoints, or even a break in battle so you can heal your party. Whoever designs those encounters needs to be dragged in front of a wall and shot.
