Fiereza nodded in understanding letting Adolfo speak, she gave him a nuzzle as he shuddered, she knew what he thought of. It was hard to remember that Adolfo was so closely tied to Agua Azul by blood. She disliked the seaside pack, what concerned her more were the rumors of the new pack in the area. She had managed to gather that they called themselves The Reign of Terror, and if she hadn't been on the path she was on, she knew they would have been just her type.
Infact she was certain she had caught scent of Valdis out aways and knew that the flesh torn female was just their sort as well. She gave a small shudder, the shadows whispered against her fur soothingly in her head they told her to go, to skin, the new king could keep her children safe. She snorted at that, she would rather remain with Adolfo and her children then skin, anyday.
"You seem tired...perhaps it's time to rest Adolfo, I wish to hear how your journey went, but it can wait..." She smiled softly at him
"I hope Vianna can join us..." She knew in the end it was up to the red and black swirled femme. "They'll come soon." She switched the topic and looked down at the small curve in her lower stomach. "In a week or two...they are deceitful..." She smirked softly. "It looks as if I carry one...or two, yet I can feel them...more." She huffed and looked at Adolfo with a grin, maybe he didn't believe her, but she knew in her heart.

A small turn up of his mouth was the thanks for the shudder nuzzle, though when Fie shuddered herself, Adolfo knew it had to be a thought about Agua Azul or the new neighbores. He left the shadows move over Fie like a soft blanket, and even reached his snout out to press against her cheek.
Pulling back to a straight laying position, the shaman's tail wavered across the ground.
"As much as I hate to admit it, I am a bit tired," he paused and just looked at Fie, she was a beautiful wolfess indeed, and a stalker (of sorts) that wiggled her way into his dark heart. "And I wish to hear how you faired, and more about this bear incident," he spoke with a smile playing on his maw.
He didn't reply about Vianna, she was a strong female and just as thick skulled, but their was a small flicker of hope that she would hear him out the next time they crossed paths.
Then Fie switched topics again, good thing he was already half a sleep, otherwise it would have been difficult to keep up. His emerald eyes flickered towards the small buldge. "I'll believe what a mother-to-be feels in her heart. I'll be hear to help you with the litter," he paused and then thought about something, "do you think you're going to need help? I don't know how well I'll be functioning outside of concerned male catagory during the birth." In other words he would go and hunt down Alas to assist if that was to be the case.

"Rest then." She murmured soothingly and wriggled a bit closer to continue gently nuzzling him, she would always love this male, always be grateful to him for sharing his love, and for helping her to create a new life, and a family.
"I faired well, I left the oak to venture into the daylight...it was overrated." She smirked. "I prefer the moon to the hard sun."
She looked at him uncertainly as he asked if she would need help. How would she know if she needed aid? The shadows should be enough...and yet she feared that her brave face might cost her a pup.
"Your help should be enough, yet...if there is a problem and you feel uncertain if the shadows can aid you..."
She looked at him curiously, of course he didn't know what birth felt like either, but Fie had been isolated so long, she only knew what it was like to kill a mother, not be one.

Adolfo didn't need to hear anything else, his head lowered to the ground and his eyes closed gently, but his ears wiggled back and forth showing he was listening to what Fiereza had to share.
However one emerald eye reappeared as the male looked at the wolfess beside him, "As most things are," he had a smile playing on the corner of his mouth at the thought of things being overrated, this was true, but then there was something that were no where near expectations, they soared higher then what the mind would think.
"It makes you wonder why anyone would like to live in the sunlight to begin with, but then I've always prefered our quiet night to the loud day in the sun."
His other eye slid open and Adolfo lifted his chin off the ground, little pieces of dirt clinging to his chin fur, he mulled the thought over. Would the shadows really be enough to help with birthing? What if Alas couldn't come, they would have to be.
The emerald gems showed that he was thinking and not taking the possiblities lightly. "If there was anything safer then the shadows assistance, then I wouldn't know of it. Besides, I don't know if Alas would come back into Aqua Azul territory to begin with." And then the smile spread to his face, "I'm certain the shadows will keep me straight through the crucial times, they can smack the nose pretty good."
Yes, he had done it again, made a horrible attempt at a joke, though it was actually true, the shadows were seeking balance within their master and wouldn't accept him for anything else. Adolfo laid his head down on his paws this time as he looked towards the outer rim of the hanging branches, when his eyes were closing again, and ears beginning to still, he whispered out.
"I will continue thinking on it though," his promise to Fie, after all they did want a healthy litter to be born into the darkness.

With a soft smile Fiereza nudged his chin brushing the dirt away from his fur. She nodded softly as he considered Alas' help. "It's best for her now to stay where she's safe, we'll manage alright."
She grinned as he joked lightly about the shadows before putting her paw gently over his. "You must control them, you are the master Adolfo." She licked his cheek "You've learned so much, you must embrace them." She nodded softly as he closed his eyes.
"Sleep first, there is time to think through the week at least." She nuzzled him lightly and curled up beside him so he could feel the faint stirrings of life pushing from Fiereza's stomach and sides. "Rest well love." She closed her own crimson eyes and drifted to sleep feeling much less worried now that the future seemed bright with the thought of her family.

It was true, Adolfo was their master and he had greatly improved on controling them. The swat on the nose from the shadows was a swift slap during on of the lessons he struggled with, before he had completely embraced his unseen...well really non-physical allies.
The shadows were going to be a great help keeping track of the pups, no matter how many were born to grace the willow. A low exhale from his snout was the last sign of consiousness before his breathing was completely as even inhales and exhales. His cheek moved to press itself again Fie's shoulder, his body shifting in their sleep into a pose that would allow his to spring up and protect at the first warning of the shadows, even in a deep sleep. There were no more words to be shared as the morning was coming and when they awoke, the night would be rising over Telk.
