Alice Longbottom I like the Gaspard Ulliel for edward I like Gaspard Ulliel for Jacobs part not edward,. He would be perfect for Edward! A lot of other people seem to think so as well:  Knowing Gaspard could have made the movie more amazing, I just don't like the thought of Robert playing Edward,

Oh my gosh! That one guy would be PERFECT! These directors and cast-listers are not too bright if they skimmed over these fine specimins.

Personally, I thought the guy who played Cedric was all wrong for the role. Still he's a good choice for Edward. I mean, he's not nearly sexy enough but who are you going to find that's sexy enough to play Edward? Sometimes you just have to settle for second best. I think with all that make up he's got on, it's pretty good.

I suppose we can't do anything but complain, but when the movie comes out we will all go watch it and im sure melt when we look at the screen and see Edward.

They nailed the role of Alice, she's beautiful!

I know! I love Alice in the books and she's even better [well, not really] than I imagined. They did a good job on that. But for some weird reason, I thought that Emmet had BLONDE hair and Jasper had BLACK. I dunno. I must have been slightly confused when I read that part.
Anyway, they have a good Esme and Carlisle, don't you think?

That's interesting, because I thought the actress they cast as Alice was all wrong for the part, much much more so than Robert Pattinson as Edward. She is very very beautiful, yes, but in a conventional way that lacks both the the quirkiness and the ethereal quality I imagine Alice's appearance to have.
Then again, I've already seen Robert Pattinson play Cedric, and approved of that performance, whereas Ashley Greene is all new to me and may end up proving herself to be a good Alice through her acting.
As for Kristen Stewart looking like Emma Watson, I think they have similarly shaped faces (particularly the pointy chins) but are otherwise very different. I can see where you're coming from with that though.

orange_button She did? Wow. That kind of seems more her part. Just saying. I would suggest Ben Barnes, but then I'd have to be Bella if he was Edward. xd [Please excuse my fan-girliness. I'm not usually like that.] The Covenant? Hmmm. Never heard of it. Can you post a picture of them? You haven't seen it?! It is only one of the most amazing movies ever!! Plus all four of the main guys is totally hott. One of them is kind of Draco-esque. The only thing about it I didn't like was the spider scene, which was incredible, but also scared the bejeezus out of me. Ok, this is the main guy, Caleb:  This is his best friend, Pogue (who rides a motorcycle, might I add... *squee*):  The troublemaker, Reid:  And Reid's tag-along, Tyler:  And anyways... I think that Kim is right. I'm sure that even after all this complaining, it will turn out pretty good. Not as good as the book, but still. I just hope they don't screw up my favorite parts.

Hmm I haven't really seen many pictures of Esme & Carlisle...
But Rosalia....im not sure they did as good as they could have.
She's pretty...but she doesn't really look snobby enough to be her, what do you think?
I've seen Kristen Stewart in a few movies and as far as her performane...well she is "ok".

Scotties MiaKitty I happen to think he's going to be a great Edward. I've seen the movie poster, and it sent delicious shivers up my spine! He's got the whole brooding sexy look thing down, that's for sure, look!  He's right for it, I think. Look-wise, anyway. He has the sharp, angular features the role calls for, and can definitely dazzle people with those eyes... I don't think they could have ever found anyone quite sexy enough, but I think they did a good job. I agree. Besides it's not how good you look it's how you act. and he's a great young actor.

Hm. I still can't get it in my head that Robert Pattinson is playing Edward... Oh well.
I haven't seen pictures of any of the other characters. Would anyone mind posting them here?
Alice is probably my favorite character, so I hope they don't screw her up. I really don't like Jacob, though, so I could care less about the actor who plays him.
Vampires over werewolves! (Although Remus Lupin is an exception... -hugs Remmy-)

The cute badboy that has it out to get the main character and then turns out to be a good guy at the end is the played by the actor who played Caleb... The guy that plays WARREN PEACE?! OH! I didn't recognize him with short hair! His name is Steven Strait. He looks..........different. Better, actually. He DEFINETLY should be playing Jacob! What is wrong with these people and their casting issues? I guess it's a matter of opinion. He's gonna be in another movie soon, yeah? I think he's in 10,000 BC [a totally AWESOME movie, by the way!] as the main character guy. Even though I REALLY don't like Jacob, either, I do care who plays him. Steven Strait would be PERFECT for him, since they said he was good looking in the books. He definetly fits that part. ^^ P.S. The movie is classified as a "Horror" movie. Is it REALLY scary or what?

OMG you're totally right he'd make a GREAT Jacob... and he's totally cute!!!
And wow, when I read what you typed...'He's gonna be in another movie soon, yeah?' I jjust read some book (not sure what it was) and the guy in it did that all the time, and then the girl did it once and smacked herself on the head and muttered 'God, now I'm starting to talk like him!'
And what's wrong with Jake??? I like Jake... he's like a little (forgive me) puppy, stuck out in the rain, and you just wanna take him inside and take care of him!!! (sorry... i have very strong mothering instincts for a 16 year old...)
But it is? Really? Wow... Well, you know, if you notice, any movie with vampires practically gets bumped up a rating just because of them. The Queen of the Damned is rated R, but it's not nearly as bad as some other movies that came out around then and are rated PG-13.
