The moment Dinzen heard the sounds of movement he bolted. Lunging himself forward from the rock he hit the ground with a loud thump and sprinted away.
The mysterious figure was now exposed and Dinzen's question was answered. The thing that he was staring at was another ulaya. A male at that and he didnt seem like he was here to chat. Dinzen's speed was no match for the other. The male caught up relatively fast and Dinzen was crunching for time to escape. Trying to buy himself a little time he threw the rabbit at the other's face hoping to temporarily blind him as he tried to reach the forest.

Arawn's smirk remains firmly in place as he chases his prey down. The rabbit to his face was a minor inconvenience tough, bu it did add a little twist to the fun in this hunt. That male had guts. His claws dig into the soft earth a little as he propels himself after his target just a bit faster once he shook off the carcass.
"Nice hunt mortal, but not nice enough."

Turning his head back Dinzen sees that the male is back in focus and after him even faster then before. "That didn't give me much distance... lets just hope what little I got I can keep." he told to himself as he tried to pick up the pace. Nervously laughing at himself he adds, "Eeeeh I just probably made him really mad."
The forest wasnt that far from where the chase was but to Dinzen it seemed like miles. He hoped that he could lose his chaser in the forest, praying that his coloration would blind him to the male.
He eventually hit the forest's edge, almost tripping over a raised tree root in the process, and glanced around for a place to hide. Hope that he wont get caught rose as he reached the forest. He'd have a better chance escaping the male in here then anywhere else. Though, if the time occurs he'll fight the male if he really has too.

Arawn merely grins wider when he sees his prey heading for cover. "Oh? Then let's let the real game begin. I'll even be nice and give a headstart~" He smirks, flicking his tail before turning to dart off to the side and enter the forest at another point to circle the green male and catch him off guard again.

Dinzen is no longer visible from out of the forest and his blending is starting to take effect. As he got farther in he noticed he didnt hear the running of the male that was behind him. He slowed to a trot and looked around, then stopping. Where did the male go? Maybe his plan worked and he lost him after entering the forest? Maybe he's around but cant be seen? Any one of those opinions are plausible. His advantage could very well be, and seems to be, turning into his downfall without him even knowing it.
Dinzen started off again with a steady paced walk as he kept his eyes and ears alert. Red eyes scanned from the forest ground to the sky. He wasn't really wanting to be surprised again.
