"Yours is nice, and thanks..Made it myself.." He smiled for the first time in awhile and strapped on his guitar. "Wait your brothers the lead singinger?"

"Yeah, how did you know?"

"He's the only one in the band that isn't an only child...Call my a band geek but I love them! So I know quite a bit." ((I'll warn you now, I'm not sure if that's true..))

"That really is a ncie guitar..but it's not the guitar that makes it pro it's the person who plays it."
PostPosted: Sun Jun 15, 2008 4:53 pm

Ken noticed the boy finally smile; strange, Matt reminded him alot of Rin. The same silence, but for most likely different reasons entirely. It made it easier for Ken to connect with Matt, for some odd reason.

"Hm, I don't know alot about the band, so I'll rely on your knowledge for that." he nodded to Matt ((I've never heard of the band til now anyways. xd )), before going back to tuning it real fast. It sounded pretty decent.

"Agree with Andy on that note (no pun intended on that, sorry you two!); how long have you guys been playing....well, the instruments that you play?" he asked the two curiously.

"Me, well I've been playing since I was 7..Not as logn as most, and yourself?" Matt hopped back on his bunk and began to polish his guitar. "If you want to pain your guitar I have spray paint...Black or the same color blue"

Andy smiled cheerfuly "I've been playing for 3 years.." Andy looked over at Ken. "You seem to be thinking about someone, I can see it in your eyes. Care to share?"
PostPosted: Sun Jun 15, 2008 5:53 pm

"I've been playing since around 9; not as long as yourself, but I kinda got obsessed with it after awhile." he shrugged, as he took in Matt's words. He got a bit excited. "Oooh, seriously? We should try it when we get some free time, that way I'll have a chance to take off the strings and prepare it to be painted. That'd be cool!" he grinned.

Upon Andy's words, he immediately went on a normal defense, which was totally casual and believeable. "Ah, nothing really." he shrugged it off, as he began to tune the guitar again. "Darn string keeps going sharp on me..."

Rin grinned in satasifaction; she had finished unpacking everything. The nightstand (there is a small one for each bed; the twin one is larger and is shared by both bunkers) was filled with her bath products, and a couple of books and other things. Her light-purple sheets with flowers was neatly covering the bed, as well as the matching bedspread. She had also sit atop the bed her favorite stuffed animal; a small stuffed penguin that was blue and white, with a yellow bow tied about it's neck. Her band poster was up, as well as a small Beauty and the Beast one that had the rose on it. With sparkles, of course.

As she was putting the trunk away under the bed, she noticed something odd; there was a leftover pair of shorts in her trunk. Picking it up and looking at it, she smacked her head; this were Ken's shorts; it was obvious by size, for you could fit a Rin and a half in one of those!

"Guess I'd better return it to him......." she sighed, and went back outside. There weren't alot of people out yet; it was still early. She made her way to cabin two (since the sign showed that visitors were allowed, unless there were screw-ups in the future).

Crystal watched curiously for a moment and was about to ask why she was heading there, then saw the huge pair of pants in her hands and sighed. "Men can never pack correctly..." she chuckled to herself and waved to Rin. Meh, she'd go in if Rin was in there too long. Her brother was in there, so nothing to worry about unless there were screams.

Rin noticed the Crystal lady wave, and actually waved with a small smile in return and headed inside. The door of the large room was slightly shut, so she knocked.

"Who goes there?" Ken asked, having a fair guess right off the back as to who it was; he had told her NOT to come in here, darnit!

"It is I, your sister." she answered in a normal tone.

"Fine; come in!" he called, as the girl opened the door. Strange, she actually came in despite the people in here. It made him wonder why she was in here.

Nervous, she opened the door and walked into the room. One could classify her cute depending on tastes, though she looked at the two boys for maybe a second at best before walking into the room and looking at Ken.

"What brings you in here so early? Unpack already?" he asked her curiously, but with a hint of fustration that only his sibling could detect.

She nodded silently. "Yeah; wasn't too hard, and I see you've yet to finish." she responded cheekly and paused before holding up his shorts. "And you put your shorts in my suitcase; thought I'd bring them over as opposed to you being one pair short as the week rolls by." she responded with a small smile as the threw the shorts at him, and they landed on his head. She giggled slightly, in spite of herself; it was a amusing picture, for now he had the look of rabbit ears.

NOW it made sense; he felt bad for being mad at her on the inside. But she was being rather cheeky about it; revenge, he supposed. "Ah, thanks. Thought you came in for the sake of crashing the party." he joked, rubbing her head and the fustration hint gone, as Rin could tell. THIS was his revenge, for he knew that Rin disliked head-rubbing, and she gave him a wary glare.

Matt's smile didn't last long and he didn't want to ruien the brother sister moment. "You either have the worst aim ever or..the best..Depending on where you were aming. And I don't think either of them have un packed.." He gestured towards Andy's suitcase still on his bed then over to ken's.

Matt climbed back up on his bunk and ripped the picture of his dead girl friend up. He didn't want to make everyone else depressed. "I'm going for a walk, see you guy's later..It was nice meeting you." Matt jumped down and put his hand on the door handle, then turned around on his heels and grabbed his I-pod and guitar.

Andy shruged and waved to Matt. "I'm Andy." He said with a cheerful voice, then he glared at Ken. "Uhm...normally I wouldn't intruepet a brother sister moment But I get the feelign she wants yout o stop. It's probably for your own safty. She looks pretty strong." Andy didn't want to tease Ken furturh. Despite the fact that Rin was 13. She looked quite strong.

Rin and Ken both knew that the young girl seemed to have chased him out, but each one thought for a different reason.

I scared him; probably never saw a kid with one eye before. Wouldn't surprise me if he went to go gossip at people now; here come the Cyclops jokes. Why do I keep bugging Ken? He's probably sick of me always tagging about like a lapdog. Not my fault this time, though. Sakura might not have been right when telling me just to come in here.....

Gosh, does she ALWAYS have to come in when I'm on a roll? I was hoping to get a break from her on this camping trip, but maybe not, apparently. I love her to death, I really do, but her attitude seems to be scaring out people. That, and I never get time to myself anymore; I just want a break before I break. Is that so much to ask........?

Both went to speak, but surpringly Rin beat him to it. "I-I never meant to disrupt you guys or chase anyone out. Just came to return the clothes." and with that, she quickly made her way to the door and out it, and made her way back to the girl's dorm before anyone could say anything to her, including the nice lady Crystal.

She went inside, flopped onto her bed, and turned on her Ipod real loud, staring at the ceiling. Why was she cursed like this? She wished she was normal...

"Rin, come back! RIN!" Ken had called out to her in worry, but she bolted out the door too fast for him to get her. He sighed. "She always does that. I dunno what to do with her anymore...."

"She didn't chase anyone away..I don't know if anyone heers noticed...But the back of that picture said my first and last love...he's affraid of girls." Andy's face went into an odd gesture, then before anyone knew it. He was on the floor laughing.

Matt sat outside and imbetween the back of the boy's and girls doorm. He was playing his guitar in the medow. He had never seen such clear skys so he had decided to make th emost of it. He began to strum louder, just to ignor Andy. WHo he could still here along with Ken. He then started to sing the song as well. The song was called. You be the anchor that keeps my feet on the ground and I'll be the wings that keep your heart in the coulds. It was by Mayday Parade and sure he was into hardcors emusic. But he also enjoyed a few slow, songs..
PostPosted: Mon Jun 16, 2008 4:17 pm

Ken listened to the boy, who for some odd reason began laughing, and some gesture that the older boy didn't get. Ken pondered this in silence for a moment. He said them aloud to himself, to see if he could figure out what he meant.

"My first and last love........Wait a sec..."

The words that Matt wrote, are definately of depression. Let's see, he fell in love with a girl, something happened, and now he's sad. Hm, it sounded like what one would say either with a bad breakup (on her side, since he still loves her). But, if he loved her, then why would be be sad? Ok, either she went with another guy, or.....wait, did she..........it couldnt' be...

Curiousity got the better of him; he went near the bunk bed and went up half the steps. He saw the picture ripped in half, but the words could still be made out on the back. He quietly put the two pieces back together, and looked at teh front of the picture. There stood a beautiful girl with a lovely smile on her face, standing next to a happy Matt. The words were on the back. He hoped Matt wouldn't get mad, and it made Ken a bit guilty, but this was to see if Andy's reaction was a good one.

It was obvious; she loved him. That would only leave two options, but either way his tolerance with Andy was slim now. Either one was not in ANY way humourous; she either went with a new man, or she's, to put it bluntly, dead. He'd dare not ask Matt himself unless they became close enough friends, but those were the options. He got down and rounded out on Andy, who was still laughing.

"You idiot! He's not afraid of girls; even if he was that's nothing to laugh at!" Ken suddenly raised his voice at the younger boy; what was WITH him?! He could see why Matt didn't seem to like him very much; it had been subtle, but he had been with Rin long enough to spot such things. He waited for an answer, hoping it'd be a good one. He'd hate to kick his butt so early in the game. He had had a short temper as of late, and it was BAD to get on Ken's badside.

As Rin came to pause in a song on her Ipod, she suddenly heard the sound of a guitar coming from the back of the cabin. But where? Sitting her Ipod in her belt and taking off the earphones, she slowly yet quietly made her way to the back, a spot she'd yet to check on her first visit in.

She came out to a large deck, part open air and part of it with a roof above one's head. There sat the boy on the open-air part of the deck, a guitar in his hands and playing a song, as well as singing to it. He had a nice singing voice; the quiet ones that she met before tended to be like that. She recgonized the song immediately, hearing it once or twice long ago on the radio. Mayday Parade, if memory served right. She slowly made his way out to him, and each step took to the beat of the song as she too began to sing with him. Her short dress fluttred in the wind as she got out from under the roof, her one eye gazing out to the sea ahead, as not to nerve the boy. Although usually quiet, she was told once that she fitted her own stereotype, but she had never meant it for herself, but for a good friend. Too bad that friend turned on her long ago...

As she got close enough to be in seeing presence, she gave him a friendly look while he was playing and she singing (as not to disturb him; the song was a long one and she loved his voice.). She tried to make her odd-looking face say something like: "Please dont' run away; you have no need to be scared!" She didn't want him to leave again; she didn't like scaring people. And it was easier for her to smile with music playing; normally it'd come out a weird akward smile, but now it looked almost normal.

As he finished the song he slowly looked up to see Rin. He didn't run he sat there and a small smile appered. "How long have you been watching me?" he asked in a teasing manner then quickly changed what he had said.

"You know that song? It's really a good song in my oppinon...If you'd like you can join me.." He wasn't used to haning around with anyone let alone a girl. So he made things quick before she decided he was a depressing freak who didn't like to talk or smile. But sing and play guitar.

((Do you actully now the song?))

Andy started at Matt.. "Sorry, I guess I wasn't thinking.. I think he mentioned that she was dead when I first walked in the room.. I don't quite rember but yeah..She's aprently dead... I can tell, he was murmuring things like..I should really let go of you love, but I can't...I just can't...I guess he finally did considering he wasn't very hesatant to rip up that picture of them.. He ripped her part up a bit more...I think he was just going to keep the two seprate.. He also, mentioned somehting while murmured to himself on how he kenw her well enough to show she never loved him.."
PostPosted: Mon Jun 16, 2008 4:49 pm

Ken listened to this, and was both saddened and angered at the same time. Poor guy, that Matt; that would explain why he left as soon as Rin came in. If it was recent, then he WOULD be slightly scared of women in that sense. But not scared as in "OMG WOMAN, HIDE!" sort of fashion that Andy mentioned before. But Ken had to try and be patient with him, for there had to be some sort of reason he was here as well. Over-hyperness, mabye.

"Well, if he mentioned that she was dead (and a bit of rejection, by the sound if it), why were you laughing?" he asked, but kept a patient voice. Again, Rin's trained him to do that. Strange; she's seemed to be a bigger help than either one of them realized. Where was she, anyways? Eh, she was probably still mad at him, but that's not the topic at hte moment.

((I looked at the song on Youtube when you put it in, but I dunno alot about the band itself. sweatdrop ))

"Not too long, but enough. You've got a nice singing voice." she answered, as she sat down and flattened her skirt wrinkles. She couldn't sit cross-legged in a skirt, so she sat with her legs over teh edge, and had taken off her shoes beforehand so they don't fall in the water. She could sense Sakura trying to pry her mind but for once.....shooed her away mentally. She'd pay for that later, but since he was trying to be optimistic, she might as well too. She fixed the bandages on her eye as she answered his second question.

"Uh, sure; I wouldn't mind. I've been a big music fan in general, and had no plans of stopping anytime soon. But I still have alot to learn of bands. You a fan of the same one that the song is from?" she asked in her usual tone, trying to start conversation for the sake of it. They seemed to be somewhat alike, but she knew that'd never be the case; because of Sakura, many thought her mad.

"I guess...I onyl laugh so i don't cry.." He sighed long and low. "Honestly, I have some stupid brain issue... I was dropped on ym head when i was a bayb...Which makes me laugh insted of cry and always smile...Besides we all live to die right, so just think she's in a bettet place while we're stuck in the hell hole."

((Hm, did you like the song? (((I don't know anythign about the band either))) ))

Matt stopped smiling and slung his feet back over the edge. "Thanks... Kinda, I perfer hard core but That song...Just somehow speaks to me...Just like sogns like oh Kind Of Perfect By Armor For Sleep." He started to play again then stopped and looked at her eyes well eye. "You have such a nice eye, but if you don't mind me asking what happend to the other one?"
PostPosted: Mon Jun 16, 2008 5:40 pm

Being patient had paid off; this guy had a reason. "Ahhhh, gotcha. Well, we're all here for some reason or another. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't losing my mind." Ken chuckled. "I can understand what you're saying though, but really, of fair warning, people sometimes take laughing as offense, if it's a bad siutation to be laughing in." he added, putting the guitar back in it's case and deciding to finally unpack. Rin had had a point there; he'd be late otherwise.

((Dunno; sort of neutral on it. Maybe I'll go back and listen to it again to be sure. I tend to listen to the same song multiple times if it's new to me. xd ))

"True; I don't really favor one genre over another, but I tend to find songs that speak to me as well. I tend to like songs by Evanescence; good band, in my opinion, but there are few bands I actually dislike. Therefore those words won't mean much, I suppose." Rin shrugged, as she could finally feel none other than Sakura pull on her hair. The girl winced slightly, shooing away what would look like nothing with her hand.

"Can't escape me forever, kiddo! Muwahahaha!"

As Matt kept a concentrated look at her eye and asked "the question", she was torn between the truth and the "truth". She could feel Sakura sitting on her head, the long red hair billowing down her head and some going over the shoulders. Her dress was white in color, but lowcut and suggestive. She wore black boots and had little black bat wings.

"Cmon now, Rin! Why tell him the real truth? He'll think you're the freak you really are!"

"But-"

"No buts, worm! I'm trying to help you, idiot!"

She barely resisted the urge to shout back out, since Matt was probably already confused at her angry concentrated look above her. Blushing in embarassment for two different reasons, she looked at the water as she answered, in her own words at her mystic Rin-like tone.

"I-It's a long story that'd take awhile to finish, but it's not a good one, and you seemed sad earlier as it was. I don't want to upset you." she answered. "But I'll just say for now that it involves broken glass; if you feel like hearing it sometime, just-"

"NO!"

"-let me know. I dont usually repeat it, but, you've been so kind to me as it is, i-it'd be mean not to." she finished, looking back up at him and attempting a grin, but now it was strange-looking without music in the background.

In truth, she could feel a strange connection with the boy, despite age difference of three years. She really didn't mind.

Matt made a flickign motion above her head to get whatever it was away. "Person above your head, say no more. Happends to me to." he smiled at her reasuringly then looked back into her eye. "I'll take you up at that offer sometime. And scaring me isn't so easy...I have a few grusome tails of my own believe it or not." He nudged her then continued to play. He enjoyed talking with Rin they almost had some kind of...Conncetion..

"And people wonder why i got my a** kicked in highschool...I always laugh and smile..Stupid brain injury.." Andy turnednd his back to Ken and went to unpack. He pulled out clothing then a few other things. Pictures of his family, friends and a locket he hung on a peg.

"No! You're going, and that's final! I told you, either you work this out on your own, or you're getting help. Since you're still wearing a damn skirt, I guess you've made your decision. You're completely healthy; you've been healthy for years, and it's high time this stopped You're going. That's final. Now, get. In. The. CAR!" Alexander's mother was getting red in the face; she'd been arguing with him for over an hour, and Lexxy was getting to the point where he'd go just to get her to stop yelling. With a huff, he flicked his long dark-brown hair over his shoulder and, glaring, marched out thes door, slamming it behind him as he went.

"FINE!" He yelled back over his shoulder. "I'll go!" Oh, yeah. Stun her with your caustic wit and leave her too speachless to drive anywhere. That'll show her. Rolling his eyes, Alex threw himself into the backseat beside his suitcase and arranged his skirt around him, glaring. He didn't want to go to this stupid camp; he didn't think there was anything wrong with himself! Pretending to be a girl was perfectly normal. Healthy, even. Yeah. His mother didn't know what the hell she was talking about; he was getting the female perspective, dammit! His momslid into the drivers' seat a moment later, not saying anything, leaving Alex to simmer silently for the drive. Lexxy jammed his headphones into his ears and blasted his music, making sure it was angry and loud enough for her to hear, just incase she didn't already get the message.

Next things he knew, the car was jerking to a stop, almost pitching Alex foreward due to his lack of seatbelt. "We're here, Alex. I hope you packed more than just your skirts, because you're going to be in an all-boys' room, and kids your age can be cruel." She sighed. "Well, go on." Alex mumbled a parting and slid himself out of the car, tugging his suitcase along behind him. His headphones he jammed into his pocket before he headed for the 'Welcome' banner.

"Uhh..." He really wasn't all that sure of what he was doing; he'd never been to a camp before, and truth be told, he hadn't been listening when his sister Madison had been explaining all of it. Did he just... go to the dorm? What dorm-room-thing was he in, anyway? Alex figured he probably should have asked, or he wouldn't be feeling like such an idiot now.

"Ah well. No one's perfect, and it's the bullies that should be jealous. After all, they just focus on the negative, and wouldn't have the courage to smile in the darker moments." Ken said, as he finished putting on his plain blue sheets, and then started with the posters. Oh yeah, lots of posters of bands. Total music geek in the making, but then there was a couple on football. Hey, he could go out of the margin and be in more than one group, right?

"Oh, he did NOT just try to flick me off? Did he just try to flick me off? I happen to have WINGS, thank you very much! I'll kick his little arrongant punk-"

Rin blocked out the rest of the words, surprised right off the back that he didn't think her insane. Most kids were like "What the heck you doing? Psycho freak." or something around those lines. But he didn't know if he was serious about hearing voices, or if he was just insulting her and being a tease. He might have been trying to make a joke, so Rin took it in stride. At least he hadn't run away, a sign that he wasn't thinking her mad just yet. Gotta take slow steps.

"Alrighty. Well, we're here for most of the summer, so time is abundant for tell-tale swapping." she nodded, as he began to play. She wondered what song he was going to play; he must not have heard her sing earlier, for he asked if she wanted to join. She was sometimes a loud singer, but at that time had sung quietly to herself as not to disturb him. She could hear Sakura go off somewhere in a huff, mumbling something about not sleeping tonight, but Rin ignored her.

Crystal had been wandering down to the main area, looking for any lost people. Camp was a knew thing to some of them, since some were anti-social and all-

HA! Found one before Benny. Someone was gonna owe her 10 bucks. A young lady was coming her direction, and she looked.......angry? Oh wait....there was one profile of a older one who was a guy but dressed like a girl. Well, might as well ask hte name first to see if it matched. She didn't judge him; besides, girls had it better lots of times. Teehee!

"Ah, greetings, camp goer!" she said, and waved as she headed over to the person. "Welcome to camp Louvewings; I'm Crystal, and I'll be one of the staff here, so no need to fear me or any of the other staff. What's your name, so I can help you find your dorm?" she asked the teen.
