Seismic Schist That is wicked cool Divash, I wish I could stand balsamic though. .-. So use white wine vinegar instead. See, no problem at all!

Pineapple makes the mouth sore and red, not because of pH or allergies (usually), but because it's so fibrous. All that fiber scratches the delicate skin of your mouth and makes it raw, that's all.

Oh, and berries of any kind are awesome. Grapes are high in sugars and calories, though.

Red River is kind of similar to porridge, except made with coarser grains like flax, so it has a grittier texture.

Lately I've rediscovered a favorite treat of mine: sugar snap peas. I buy a 2-pound bag and nosh on that instead of popcorn or potato chips/crisps.
Benefits:
It's delicious. It's sweet. It's full-to-the-ears with great fiber and vitamins. It's filling. It's nonfat. It takes almost as much calories to digest it as you'd gain from eating it, so it's nearly a zero-sum food. That is, you can eat it all day long and not gain weight, though it may give you some digestive cramping and diarrhea if you eat more than half a pound per day.
