Ironic indeed. Lucky too. Namir smiled a bit at the younger lion's cheer, before yawning again. Then a pause where he seemed to be thinking, before chuckling a bit. "I had to make sure I wasn't actually asleep with all this yawning. It would have been unfortunate for this to have been a dream, now wouldn't it?"
Oh yes, that would have been a cruel joke of the moon god. Which, of course, brought Namir to look up into the sky at the almost full moon. That was a -very- good omen!
"Must have been the will of the god." he commented, nodding up toward the moon, before laying down in the grass, stretching his front legs tiredly, before laying his head down on them and taking a deep breath. "Perhaps more luck will come your way." he offered in an optimistic 'good luck' in Thoth's search.
Then he laughed a little. "But only if you get some sleep." he added, yawning again.

As soon as Namir yawned, Thoth also yawned. It was hard not to yawn when someone else did, especially if he kept on yawning. It was quiet, it was peaceful and Thoth was more than happy to bask in the joy of his very first success. This would be enough motivation to keep him going, if the Great Lion was on his side now he couldn't lose momentum now. It seemed the pride could go a long while with nothing, and then suddenly everything would happen. Two wandering groups had converged on the exact right territory when they were searching for home, maybe Thoth's luck would hold and he'd find some more of the stray members. Maybe even his young lost cousin.
"I hope so," he agreed, looking up and smiling at the Great Lion, "And sleep sounds good."
He looked back to Namir, and flopped down into the grass to resume a comfortable position.
"Plenty of time to get moving in the morning, I think."

Sleep sounded good to him too, as Namir shifted his weight and assumed what looked to be possibly the most uncomfortable position any lion could sleep him. However, for him, it was just right. A personal quirk. He was laying on one leg and curled into a partial ball with his head laying on the other limb.
"Yeah.. plenty of time to get going in the morning...." he agreed, with a slight smile, before taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. His body slowly relaxed into the awkward laying position he was in. It took several of these deep breathes, before his pattern of breathing took a more regular pace...
Namir had fallen asleep silently with very little prompting. For him, the sooner morning came, the sooner he'd be able to find his way home....
