Purchase RP: "Just pick a scent, Mally!" It was shortly after leaving the last shop that Mal decided he'd had enough. With a sigh, he located a bench and sat down. It took about four minutes for Cissy to realize that he'd gone missing and find him. She sat down beside him, kicking her feet. "What's the matter, Mally?" She asked, looking up. Mal sighed. "We've been out all day." His tone was flat. "My feet hurt, I have a headache, and I want to go home." Cissy nibbled on her lower lip and stroked one of his hands. "Just one more?" She asked, her voice little. Mal sighed again. "Please? Just one more?" And when she used that tone, Mal couldn't tell her no. After all, the girl stayed home with him most of the time. She hardly ever got to see outside the house. "One more, Cissy. Make it good." The girl squealed and hopped up, trying to tug him up as well. She pulled him around the street and finally into another shop. Mal grimaced at first breath. It was some sort of shop that sold... Well, judging from the various scents and wax, candles. Sissy skipped about, smelling various candles and chattering happily. Mal, however, was grumbling, trying to protect his poor nose as much as he could. Good god, this was worse than being shoved in a room full of men wearing cologne and covered in sweat. "Mmm, Mally, smell this!" A candle was shoved in the general direction of his nose. "You like it?" "Sure, it's great." Mal said flatly, still holding his breath. "Get it." Anything to get them out of there. Cissy squealed and paid, looping her arm around his and dragging him out. It was several blocks down the street towards home before his poor nose turned back to it's normal functioning shape. Then, he could identify the scent in the bag as something piney. Well, it was better than flowers.

Burn to the ground...
The ever cheerful Cissy lead Mal into the house, chattering about nothing, from what Mal could glean. His eyes closed and he sank into a chair, wincing as he put his bad leg up on a table. Gah, Sore....
"It was a wonderful day, Mally!" Cissy said happily, twirling about in her short shirt. Happy girl. "I loved being out and about!"
And Mal was trying not to be an a**. He really was. He hurt, his head hurt, and Cissy's sweet little voice was driving nails into his skull.
"I hope we can go out and do it again, because I loved seeing all the shops! It was so much fun, seeing everyone out and about in their day to day lives, all the stuff in the shops was awesome too, and it was great to get out of the house-"
"Cissy." Mal growled, gritting his teeth. "Shut the ******** up." One hand dug into the chair, ripping through the fabric. Cissy would have to fix that again.
The chattering went silent at once. Cissy just stared at him, eyes wide. When Mal got mad, bad s**t happened. Bad s**t happened a lot. It was best to leave him be for now.
Mal enjoyed the quiet, though he did feel slightly guilty. There was a rustle of a bag nearby, and Cissy's quiet steps. "Here." Her voice was soft, light. It was soothing. "I'm going to light your candle. Maybe it'll make you relax?"
"Whatever." There was the strike of a match, and Cissy coughed, then the room inexplicably filled with the scent of pine needles. Mal's nose twitched, the scent taking him back. That time in Indiana, at the burial grounds. They'd looted things that were precious to people, sold them at the best price they could get. He still remembered the flirt from the bar, those eyes, the way that body had looked-
Mal ripped the couch more. He missed his sight, goddamnit.
Cissy sighed and stayed out of his way. Bad day for Mally.

Boy from Nothing
It'd been a fairly long day for Cissy. She'd ran about and got ingredients for dinner and found herself a new teapot and kimono (One could never be pretty enough!) and finally headed towards home. On the way back, she met up with Mally, finally managing to steal the man away from his Boo. They were cute, but Cissy got lonely sometimes.
So the pair chatted as they walked up the walk, opening the door. Mal frowned as soon as they entered, holding one arm out to bar Cissy from entering. "Not yet." He murmured, voice low. "Something's in there."
Mal walked in, listening hard, pushing his sunglasses down. He could hear little steps coming from- Kitchen. He walked in carefully, knowing his size was enough to stop whatever was in there.
Once he entered the kitchen he spotted the intruder by the fridge, apparently snitching some food. It was small, a child, with oily feet. Cissy would undoubtedly be displeased by the mess on the carpet.
"Hey," Mal used his deepest 'you're ********' voice, reaching behind the door to grab whatever the kid was. He dragged the small thing out, calling Cissy in a bit later to help quiz the kid. He sat at the table, eating the lemon he'd taken from the fridge. Weird little ******** you come from?" Cissy asked sweetly. She was good cop. Mal was bad cop.
"Dunno." The brat said, sucking the lemon. "Just popped up here. I came to by the burner, got hungry, decided to go searchin'."
"What." Mal said, voice suddenly deep again. He stood up, looking at Cissy. "********, I've heard about those Gaian brats, they pop up from nothing-"
"Mally, calm down-"
"I DON'T WANT A KID." Cue tantrum, stalking off to the room. The kid and Cissy watched him stalk off.
"He gets better as he gets older." Cissy informed the young man. "You look like an Oliver."
"That's a dumb name. So's Cissy."
"Mally doesn't cook, clean, or care about you. You should stay on my good side." Cissy beamed.
"...Oliver it is, then."
