In a mirror of the playful humor, Dude also stuck his tongue out at Lumusi, before grinning, then laying his head back down on his legs with a light yawn. This time of the evening was always so boring, his body was getting used to just walking into his 'hiding place' and falling asleep. So part of him was 'forcing' himself to stay awake to chat with the oddly charming female.
He smiled a bit as she counter-introduced herself to him. "Ah, that's a charming name." he commented, having an odd habit of using 'charming' instead of 'pleasant' or 'nice' or 'pretty' or whatever other lions used. He wasn't even sure where he'd picked up the word even.
"Much moreso than my own, at least." he shrugged his shoulders lightly, indifferent to the meaning behind names. Afterall, he'd blocked it out after being named 'What's his face'.
Yeah. I love you too, mom.

Giggling softly, Lumusi was surprised that he seemed to loosen up a bit. That was nice... She felt rather content now sitting in this strange haven for Dude. The lioness continued to sit on her haunches and listened to him speak. "Thank you. Your name is quite interesting too." Really, his name was very interesting and Lumusi didn't find it weird or anything. "So, if this isn't too prying, are you close with your family?" She was just getting out into this world and there were a lot of things that she had to learn. She also grew up in a family environment and she was just beginning to understand that not everybody was as lucky as she was.
