Ferrum struggled to her feet, shaking off the last of the Mareep's electrical charge. Mouth open to make another taunting statement, her muscles locked up in fear as she remembered how close to the canyon's edge she was coming. And how fast the Mareep was charging at her! "Craaaan?!" she waved her little arms comically as the Mareep butted her off the cliff. Instinct told Ferrum to hold on to whatever she could... so she held onto Abyss with her sharp beaky snout, biting down as hard as she could
Together the two pokemon spiraled down the edge of the cliff, bumping and banging into the cliff wall before landing with a splash at the bottom. Ferrum's only consolation was at least the Mareep was as bruised and battered as she was.
Jackie blinked at the improvised Crunch attack. Nice move, Ferrum - but did it save you at the end?! Tapping the screen in front of her furiously, she sighed with relief as she saw Ferrum surface from the side of the river, coughing up water.

She shifted slightly on her platform, unsure of whether or not her little mareep could have handled such a fall. A cranidos would be sure to stand, no problem. But a mareep?
Regardless, she didn't want to give a nervous appearance, she hated that among other things. She didn't wait to see her pokémon on screen, she just assumed the best, "Abyss, thunder!"
The mareep stirred, slowly but surely. It took her a few moments to stand, she didn't expect to be pulled into the canyon's crevace at all. She shook her head as she opened her eyes, seeing Ferrum across from her. "(You..)" she then noticed her fluffy pale coat, now battered and dusty as her eyes reflected the fire she felt burning inside, "(You'll pay for that!)"
Her fur sizzled as it sparked. She sent up another large burst of energy towards the clouds above before it rushed back down, aiming for her opponent.

Ferrum snickered as the Mareep called up her own electrical storm. As if electric attacks.... she stopped. She had just staggered out of a lake. And was still soaking wet. The wheels in her mind spun as she looked up at the black clouds high above. But by then it was too late. The electrical bolt flew out and zapped her, knocking her back into the lake.
Jackie cringed as her blackened pokemon staggered out of the lake for a second time. She was favoring her left leg, where the lightning had struck. "Ferrum, let's go with earthquake!" she spoke into the mic.
Ferrum bounced back, glaring at the fluffy, dirty mareep. Stomping her feet, she sent deep cracks into the earth as it shifted. The tremors caused rocks from the canyon above to come loose, raining down onto the battling pokemon.

Kai watched the screen, seeing a few small boulders hit her mareep. She didn't bother to make any response, just an another attack of course. "Thundershock," she simply ordered into her mic.
"Reep!" She gave a battle cry before she began to charge at her opponent. Her fur began to glow, sending off some electrical charges, keeping a scowl on her face.

Ferrum fell onto her knees as the electrical attack took it's toll. Her muscles flailed and twitched, but she was able to regain her footing in time. She didn't need her trainer to tell her what to do next. She opened her jaws wide, aiming for the back of the Mareep's fluffy neck.
Jackie watched Ferrum launch her Crunch attack. She was fiddling with the hem of her jacket, a terrible habit. She crossed her fingers just in case...

Her red eye grew wide as she watched Ferrum grab hold of her neck fluff. "...That's not advised.." she mumbled, at a loss for words as she could only imagine what Abyss would do now.
Once more Abyss cried out, another angry bleet as she felt her precious fluff trying to be ripped from her neck. She kept as still as she could to minimize the damage, Ferrum's jaws luckily missing her flesh.
Her eyes seared with hatred, rage as her tail started to glow again. She had to get the cranidos to let go; her only option was to swing her tail, her glorious fluff paying the price.
