Senka frowned slightly at Tael's statement.
"You know I meant that last part to be taken lightly. I know the value of a good relationship. But you can't tell me that Chocolate has never ever ever looked at another female. No matter how much someone loves you, that doesn't mean that they can't still become slightly enamored of someone else for a short time. They look, they like, but in the end they still come home."

Taelence shook her head.
"No Senka, he's never looked at another female. Not since we've been together. And he wouldn't. He has everything he wants in me. He doesn't need to go looking," she sighed. "We're not going to agree on this are we?"

Senka shook her head. "Probably not. Besides every male is different, just as every female is. I wish you the best of luck with him. Finding the right one on you're first try is rare and something to be treasured." she said.

Taelence smiled.
"Tell me about it," she sighed. "I suppose I shouldn't make our relationship sound like peaches and cream. We do have stuff to work on. We just happen to work it out better than most." She grinned a silly grin, remembering things she'd done with Chocolate. Her fur was mostly dry now, and her coat shone. Being loved and being in love suited her better than she realized.

Senka sat down and idly twitched her tail back and forth. "So what sort of other things do you like to do?"

Taelence thought for a moment.
"I like the beach. I love to dance, and sing. I've been told I have a lovely voice. I like watching fireworks displays in the summer. And I like to swim in the ocean," she watched Senka. "What about you?"

Taelence batted a stray piece of string off the counter.
"I like my solitude, but I'm too much of a social butterfly to be alone most of the time. I like being in other's company," she rested her head on her paws "Why do you keep to yourself so much?"

Senka looked down and got a faraway look in her eyes. Her ears drooped along with her tail. "I...I had a rough childhood....My mother was a nervous wreck trying to raise four boys along with me...I'm the only girl...my father wasn't worth anything...and because of it my brothers were always getting into trouble for some reason or another...it was always so noisy at home and cramped and crowded."
She sighed, "I left home as soon as I was old enough and went through some rough times. The world really isn't a safe place for a female alone...especially if you're half decent looking...I eventually found my way here and decided that this was far enough from home and everyone I knew. I thought that maybe I could start over here..."

Taelence jumped down from the counter and walked over to Senka. She put a comforting paw on her and nosed her neck fur in a friendly way.
"If it makes you feel better, I had a perfect childhood. And I hated it with a passion," Tael sat in front of the silver fox. "Nothing ever happened. It was boring. I was hemmed in all the time. I wasn't allowed to anything that wasn't all American. I had to just be the nicest and sweetest thing all the time. No change, no difference in the days, until they eventually started to blur into one big 'Perfect American Dream'. I thought I'd never get out."
"Be happy that you gained life experience from your childhood. I left my home as naive as the day I was born."

Senka smiled at Tael. "And despite all that I'd trade with you in a heartbeat." she then chuckled a bit. "I guess you're parents wouldn't approve of me. I'm not an American girl at all. I'm from Serbia you see."

Taelence smirked.
"You wouldn't say that. Not if you'd grown up the way I did. So if I could, I wouldn't trade with you. Experiences make us who we are. I wouldn't be Taelence if I hadn't grown up the way I did. So as much as I hated it, I wouldn't want my childhood to have been anything different that what it is," She grew a puzzled look on her face. "Where's Serbia?"

Senka sighed. "Yes it is...I still miss them sometimes. Especially my younger brother. He was still a kit when I left. He's probably grown by now. What about you, do you have any siblings?"
