My Father is human, and he fell in love with my mother who is a Naiad. She bore to him a human fetus though with Naiad abilities:

Good: I can move water like the moon changes the tides, this is only in human state.
Bad: If I touch water from a very big source, not just a little drop like from a cup while at a dinner table or something, my Naiad state activates, and I produce gills and a tail, meaning I also have to stay out of the rain.)
My mother being the spirit of the litte river that flows through the beaver dam, we live there. My father left when he found that my mother could actually bear a child. When I was being created in my mother "womb" people would often just see a speck soon create into a baby, if any would ever pass by it.
