A while after the others had left, Allen and his group would arrive in the area surrounding the Market Station. Still in the dark, but he could see the exit up ahead.

As much as he wanted to follow Joseph, he would listen this time, and head off to build them up a base of operations. He just had to figure out where to go, as he didn't have a map.

Eileen, still in HoshiTe form, walked along beside Allen facing back the way they came, her ten foot long gunpod once again present and pointing down the tunnel as she backpedaled slowly, her heavy metal cylinders clanking quietly with each step. She had a worried look on her face, which was illuminated by the glowing green targeting visor that was over her eyes. The half mecha had metallically voiced her concerns about potentially leaving two of their people behind, she had wanted to go out there and after them. But words of reason stopped her reckless charge back out there, and since then, her expression had turned to concern and tension.

If there was one thing HoshiTe was, hard to read wasn't it. The frustration at having to leave people behind was written clear as day in her every movement. There was a bit of self-disgust in there too, as if she'd thought there were some way this could have turned out any way other than it already had. Mostly though, there was concern for those with her, embodied in the glances back every once in a while to see how the injured were doing and the slight fidgeting, as if trying to decide if her meager first aid skills would actually be helpful...or if the more likely scenario of her making things worse would take hold.

So she mainly kept watch for things coming up behind them, mentioning only once in an almost robotic fashion that, "...all sensor systems are online and operating at full capacity." The fact that even in the dark, her visor would display targeting reticules that fit over the smallest movements in the darkened subway station attested to this. Come to think of it, the darkened subway, despite her obvious sensory advantages, was probably also contributing to her concern.

(Exhausted, before I sleep, to make sure it isn't left behind.)

Allen would grab the flashing metal device Joseph had told him about and pocket it.

"Anyone know how to get to the residential district from the Market area above?"

Sam glanced at the box when Allen picked it up. Not going to happen, cutie. She looked over at Eileen, and took things into consideration. Allen was...effective. She wouldn't say competent, but at least he was effective, if she remembered even half of that chaos at the Temple right. Maybe she was just being harsh because she'd had a lot of growing up to do in a short time, but heroics were one thing, being reckless quite another.

"Where did Joseph go, Allen?" Even as she asked, her mind was formulating ideas. She ignored his question, because while she'd seen the map once, and had it memorized, she'd give it after she had her own questions answered. She wasn't bossy, but she was in charge.

A respite no matter how short is something that Mozz had learned to enjoy. In the shadowy caverns of the train stations not only was Mozz at his best but also at his safest. In the hour that had followed the robot attack, Mozz had more or less managed to recharge his batteries. The fight had left him very exhausted and having a chance to adapt to his new environment, while simultaneously recovering from his minor battle damage was a godsend.

Now Mozz was wide awake had ready for whatever this city had to throw at him, his snow clothes tucked away in lieu of his normal crime fighting attire. Now it was time to find some answers, but first more importantly, it was probably time to find the rest of his team.

Sitting up on the steps leading to the Market below Mozz squinted into his communicator watch, and transmitted a message/conference call to all his frostchildian allies of the expedition.

“Mozz here, requesting to rendezvous.” He said quietly “ I think robots are the least of our worries and it’s probably not a safe bet to wander around split up. Today we need a base camp. Suggestions?”

no response.

"Gah....three days...three days..."

HoshiTe yawned. It was a sort of buzzing-echoy sound, like if you'd heard the yawn through a cellphone and there was bad reception. She'd relaxed just a bit once Mozz had started applying moss bandages to the others. Still, she was quiet, aside from the sound of her metal cylinders hitting the ground with each back-step she took.

Reticules still occasionally popped up on her targeting visor, green on green, but she'd running something on the side for a while now, which seemed to have screened out some of the movements that were triggering her targeting.

((Since it's a free action))

Sam lifted the comm talkie and smiled. "Good boy. You remembered. Three days. Keep going forward and you'll hit a group of us heading towards residence, we hope."

Mozz smiled at the good news “Alright I’ll head their shortly.”

Mozz stood up slowly and rubbed his eyes. It was nice for his communicator watch to have a video screen, but when he wasn’t using video chat the brightness of a pure white screen was murder on his eyes. Maybe there would be something worth taking a picture of so at least his eyes would burn from something nice to look at, like a waterfall or something.

“We’re heading out Eileen, assemble the troops we’re heading through to temple station.”

Mozz jumped down to the rail line, making sure to avoid what could possibly be the electrified third rail. It wouldn’t be very far, but the entire expedition was going to turn into a huge challenge to Mozz’s endurance.

"Ryokai," came the metallic-voiced response. She stepped closer to Allen and Aiolos and informed them of the change in direction, then began leading the way, still facing backwards.

Sam picked up her walkie talkie and smiled "Three days. Easy enough. Go to the Industrial Station and from there go to the Temple Station, then topside to the Temple Square then head north to The Ascended Way. And trust me, they even make us look like paupers with the way they throw their money around. Utopian Society, my pretty round a**."

She watched the others walking away, and just holstered her rifle before stepping up to Eileen. "Hey hun, I'm going to go catch up with Joey and the boys. There'll be a few following after. But take care of this bunch. You've done good, kid." And with a friendly pat on the back, Sam headed towards where Joe and company was.

"Easiest way is going to be getting to Temple Station, and then head North to the Ascended Way, you know. Follow me."

"Alright, what'd she say next? Temple Station, right?" He didn't look at Akechi for answers, he just nodded to himself and moved along.
