Amber faked mock horror as Taelence brought up Yakuza, the shop’s womanizer but grinned when she looked at how Taelence looks at Chocolate. Feeling slightly jealous herself, Amber tried to push that feeling aside. It is not that she minds Taelence being with Chocolate. She is delighted that they finally have each other. No. She is just wondering when she would finally find the right guy for herself. It is so hard for her to get close to someone to get to know them more. Taelence and Chocolate are the only exception. She has such a hard time making friends. Chocolate does not really mind the feeling of loneliness and would be content with a few close ones but she is different. She yearned for more contact but she never really does manage that.
Shaking off the passive feelings, Amber laughed at Taelence’s comment. “Really? I DO think that I should receive such an award seeing how well I match made you two. Helping Izzy was easy. She just needed some comments on the new chapter that she got out. And as one thing leads to another, we started getting even more immersed in mapping out the series of events that I forgot about this,” Amber admitted...
Chocolate laughed when he heard that. Nuzzling Taelence back he replied, “I can see how the both of you got so intense with imagining out the storyline that you both could even forget to eat if it is already lunchtime”
“Speaking of lunch... I am terribly hungry. Would you two mind if I leave you and go look for some food? I am starving” Without waiting for a reply, Amber strolls away back to where she came from and disappeared from sight.
Chocolate turned away from Amber’s retreating back and look at Taelence instead. “Isn’t that just like her to walk away without waiting for a reply? She must be terribly hungry though to do that. Now, where were we before Amber came?”

Taelence grinned ear tip to ear tip as she watched Amber walk off. It was just like her to run off, feeding the whims of her instincts. But she'd seen the uncomfortable look in Amber's eyes when she'd looked at the two of them, and she knew that deep down in Amber's core she was unhappy and jealous. Tael resolved in that moment to find someone who would love and care for Amber just as much as she and Chocolate did. But at the moment nothing could be done about it and she had to content herself to the fact that it would happen. She would make it happen. It just needed some time and careful planning.
She grinned up at Chocolate, a sexy and seductive grin.
"We were somewhere around here," and she gave him the fox equivalent of a passionate kiss* and shivers went down her spine. Was this what it was always going to be like, to be with Chocolate? If so she never wanted it to stop.
*i couldn't figure out what to call a fox makeout session xD. do foxes even kiss? does it matter?? xDD whatever

After emerging from what seemed like a kiss which lasted for eternity, Chocolate stared into Taelence's eyes with an expression which looks like a promise. A promise to love her for eternity. As long as he lived, he will protect her with his life. He is content as long as she is by his side. Sensing that Taelence was shivering and fearing that she would get cold, Chocolate moved closer, trying to protect her from the mild wind that is suddenly blowing. "Cold, my love?"
[[Lol. I guess it does not matter much. Even if foxes do not kiss IRL, here, they do! xd ]]

She shivered again and moved closer to Chocolate.
"No," she said, blushing a little. "I'm burning up actually."
It was true, her body was on fire. She burned with unspoken desires and passion. Tiny touches sent electricity through her nerves till she tingled, soft kisses promised eternity. The blush crept further.
Darn it, she thought. I thought I was past blushing. Apparently not.
She laughed softly.
"And quite frankly you're not helping it," but she snuggled into him, obviously not wanting him to go anywhere.

"Mmm..." Chocolate closes his eyes as he fell deeper and deeper into Taelence. His senses were overloaded as he breathe in her scent, and knows that he will remember it forever. She reminds him of the sun. Forever emitting warmth. She burns him. A sensation that is delightful yet painful. Shining so brightly in his life that was only slightly illuminated by the moon's ray before.

Taelence sighed contentedly but something nagged at her mind. She flicked one of her ears trying to make the strange feeling go away, but it pushed itself into the front of her thoughts and smacked the pleasure she felt of being with Chocolate out of the way. She mentally snorted in annoyance until she realized what the thought was. She was thinking about Amber. No that wasn't right. She was worried about Amber.
Why was she worried about Amber? She was a big girl and she could take care of herself.
Is she though? a little voice asked in the back of her mind. Amber can be awfully vacant sometimes and she can forget where she is, if she's in her own little world. Are you sure she's safe?
Of course I am, she argued back. Why wouldn't I be... Her last sentence trailed off. The mild wind had suddenly turned rough, and the sun was hidden behind large storm clouds. The slight change she'd felt had been the storm approaching. And her natural protective maternal instinct had subconsciously reminded her that Amber had not come back.
A storm could mean big trouble. While the day had been beautiful, it had also been on the warmer side and the earth often had a thunderstorm up her sleeve in order to cool things down. Amber had walked off in the direction of the trees. Thunderstorms meant lighting and lightning struck trees. If Amber didn't make it home in time and was caught out in the storm, then she could be in real danger. Even if the lighting didn't strike her, it could and would strike the trees around her. If one fell on her it could break bones, or worse.
She turned to Chocolate with worry in her voice.
"Cho, there's a storm coming. Where's Amber? She shouldn't be caught out here when it starts raining. She could get hurt," Tael looked around, obviously worried for her friend.
