P.S. Thanks for the info Skie 0. However, due to worries about copyright, being sued, etc., I'd really appreciate it if we could establish an ok with k-star. Maybe they would even like to advertise!?! If you have any contact info for them, or are willing to do it yourself, that would be greatly appreciated!

thats cool (: i will get someone to get a number for me when they goto london (i don't go much ^^; ). I will def try and sort it out tho (:

thats not really what its about. It about publishing somthing in print to have for a subculture... Kind of like having Inquest magazine for card gamers, or guitar palyer for musicians. Its not really to tell you what to do...

I cant wait!!!

card magizenes tell you the best cards to buy and sites to get them (i was a yugioh player for 2 years)
and gutiar magizenes tell you the best brands of gutiars you can buy, most include sheet music in the back they want you to play, and all of them have so gutiar icon they want you to worship. neutral

intrenet is way better, you can choose what your looking at.

thats a valid point n all, but some people just don't know where to look.
There aren't many resources online to help people and teach them what being a lolita really means.
These books only give guidance to what you could acheive if you wanted to dress lolita. It's not telling you what to do, yeah it gives you patterns, but i don't hear anyone complaining about that. If anything it's a good thing, it helps people stear away from brand names and it helps them get a headstart on creating their own clothing.

Plus, if your like me, you want to just flick through and awe and the beauty of the magazine.

bad examples then. I geuss like having the Onion for Madison people. Sure it does have examples of stuff to buy, but thats the world today. But what I'm trying to say is taht its just the princilple of having somthing in print. As a writer, I know that published works are very accomplishing to have for any person or community. And its not about what the magazines tell you to do, because thats just stupid. NAyone who does strictly what a magazine tells tehm to do is a loser anyway. I'm hoping though that this magazine is going to turn out to be more of a mook type pubication, ie. featuring peoples hard work and artistry, focusing on craftsmanship rather than focusing on advertising, instead of a 17-style magazine where advertising is the main emphasis.

anyway, what I really wanted to say was, I'm interested in being a writer for Cheshire. My email is balittle07@yahoo.com if you have more information for me. Thanks!

ps
I already registede in the Cheshire forums
