I haven't been on in a while, but has anyone heard about Young thinking about retirement, a few of his teammates talked him out of it. He said he's depressed.

Dude-LAP Spike The Super Saiyan reggie will always need a running back who is not a p***y and will take a tackle. reggie bush is a bust. and quoting jcsb 1993 The only place reggie takes it is up the butt rofl You can't deem a player a bust two seasons after he is drafted. He was a bit injured, and the entire Saints offensive unit blew up last season. Bush isn't a bust yet, he's still in the league, is doing fine, and is the face of the Saints along with Brees. he was a bit hurt becouse n/e time he goes north he gets crushed

Nyu-kun I see Vince Young as an upgraded Micheal Vick. I think Young is gonna need to start passing more and stop running. Maybe watch some tapes of Steve Young. You know Steve's success came when he started to stay in the pocket more. Then again, Steve did have Rice... Lol. Bush needs to learn to play running back. In 2 seasons, he has an average of 3.7 yards per carry. That's not good enough. That shows he moves laterally way too much. He's really only good in the passing game where he earns more yards. He's an open field type of guy. I don't think he'll become a player who can take it and run say a Dive play. But eh... Who knows? And go Alex Smith. If anyone can help him, it's Martz. Lol. Good point. Steve Young was one of the best rushing QBs of all time, yet had a very great pocket presence when he wanted to. Also, Young is a better upgrade than Vick (as a QB) by far. Vick was thinking "run" more than half the time the ball is in his hands. Young thinks "pass" first, "run" later, yet he seems to run more often because the Titans' offensive line is strong in the middle and weak on the sides, and Tennessee's mediocre receivers don't get open that easily. Bush needs to earn yards, rather than try and hit the home run on every play. He does run laterally a lot, and hesitates when making moves, rather than toughening up for those extra safe 4 yards. And P.S. ...I think that the only one that will benefit from Martz is Frank Gore. His running style is very similar to Marshall Faulk. And you know how well he did when Martz was in St. Louis. Yet Alex Smith won't thrive like Kurt Warner, because the Rams had a stellar offensive line, compared to the current 49ers' O Line, with many holes and flaws.

I really wouldnt compare Mike Vick and Vince Young. Not at all, not even as "upgraded" I keep telling you guys Mike Vick was a Running Back, Not a Quarterback, And at that he was a scared Running Back, atleast when the all-time great mobile Quarterbacks like Fran Tarkenton, Steve Young, and Randall Cunningham went for a run they took hits. If you're going to be a running Quarterback then you have to have heart. Micheal Vick will take off on a run and almost get a win because he was so close to the Touchdown all he has to do is run into the guy and fight for that extra yard but no he takes a slide.

Well now with the Matt Ryan contract that the Falcons committed to, I'm guessing that Vick will not remain in Atlanta if he comes back to the NFL. Not saying that he'd have any success, but I'm interested in seeing what he'd do if he had at least a decent offensive line.

I guess I'm supposed to, but I dont. I feel bad for Matt Ryan, I mean behind that offensive line I guess you have to have a Vick.

He recently signed a 6 year deal, worth over $70 million. A rookie who hasn't taken a snap in the NFL yet, to make over $10 million this season, after a not-so-stellar college career. He's going to make more than the elites Peyton Manning and Tom Brady...

And I thought the Texans made a mistake... Yup, Mario Williams is starting to really prove himself in the NFL. Within the next few years, he'll be one of the premier defensive lineman. Vince Young was a good pick by the Titans, yet they still need to give him a bit more help at wide receiver. Bush is not a bust, but isn't quite as valuable to his team, as Mario and Vince are, up to this point in their young careers. It's a lot easier to get in the league and perform well at DE than it is at RB. -Bush's first season he didn't realize he wasn't in college so he kept running from sideline to sideline and not down hill. -Second season: sophomore slump. This is going to be his third season and I expect him to have around 1700+ rushing/receiving yards from scrimmage and 10 TDs. He said he's aiming for 1000 rushing and 1000 receiving, and although I'd love to believe him, I know those are super-human stats that are very difficult to pull off.

Reggie Bush has great talent and potential, but he tries to hit the homerun on every play. He moves too much laterally instead of hitting the whole with determination. The offensive line is solid, so he should try to run more on the inside. Last year, when McAllister got injured, many thought that he would thrive as the true prime back. That was not the case, because nothing changed. He's not among the best backs in the league, but he has the talent to be one. He needs a football mindset instead of a kill the carrier mindset; get yards, move forward. This year, I predict about 1500 yards from scrimmage, and a bit over 10 TDs. ...Also, Westbrook is the only back in the league who can pull off the double thousand totals.
