not true~ xD Taro hated it.

But I just can't *see* Seto being a seme. It's not "I like playing ukes" I've got no problem being the seme, it's that I can't see Seto as one.

What? Mr. I-should-be-controling-the-whole-world-because-I'm-never-wrong not be Seme?
This one can't, well...this one can see him as Uke, but not completely. More like one that would both give and take. This one can't see him completely passive.

Well, my argument is that he's uke because he has no romantic or sexual experiences that would allow him to be seme. He doesnt *know* anything about romantic feelings, (or any type of affection other than the parental love that Mokuba has for him) or, even if he did know what they were, he certainly wouldn't know how to express them. What makes Seto so cold to other people is the same as what makes Seto unable to participate in, much less dominate, in a relationship: a serious lack of love as a child is undoubetedly scarring behavior-- children internalize the affection they see from their parents and the world around them. This leads to normal, happy, stable lives. Seto didn't have that. He didn't get that internalized affection, so now, in his adoescence, when he has nothing to draw on, guess what happens? Seto doesn't get what this "love" thing is all about. He'll look down on it with scorn, and be completely cynical. Know why? Because he doesn't have the capability for romantic endevors.

The rest is simple logic. No capability for romantic endevors = no seme.

Therefore, for any kind of relationship to go down, Seto would have to be the target of someone else's romantic endevors. However, Seto is not a passive person (not all ukes are passive and effiminate, mind you.) So it'd be easy to see Seto's reaction to a come-on being "STEP OFF b***h" or similarly agressive no-statement; he is actively hostile to relationships and the affection & care they require a person to feel.

TL;DR:

srz lack of love as a child = scarring behavior -> no affection seen in childhood -> nothing to draw from and internalize -> NO CAPABILITY FOR ROMANTIC ENDEVORS

no capability for romantic endevors -> no seme

Wow, >< Long explanation. But, yeah, this one gets your point. ^^; It's just when you first said Uke, this one's mind did go to submissive, and that's just not Kaiba. But this one gets it. This one's just been playing alot of Seme lately ['cause virtually everyone likes to play Uke], and this one felt excited that there was another that would play a dominate character...but then you said you play him Uke ><; This one just found it ironic.

xD I don't "like to play uke" xD I like playing characters. *points to Christii* Seto incarnate; not an uke. *points to Sain* Also a manwhore; also not an uke. *points to Wander* Not an uke. (but those colossus tentacles do make for a valid argument for the other side... xD)

Point. But the characters you play, do you prefer uke characters, or Seme? And even with your preferences, do you ever play Seme?

That's what the characters above are. Characters I play, enjoy playing, and are seme. I don't know how to make that any clearer.

I don't have a preference. I like playing characters because of their characters, not whether or not they dominate in a relationship. I don't lean towards either one because it's "more fun to play uke" like you say, because, guess what, it's not fun to play uke because no one is a good seme (short of Taro). And no one's a good uke because everyone assumes an uke is a whiney/quiet, submissive crybaby/angstwhore.

If you really want to know my crieteria as to how I play my characters, fine I'll tell you, but just because you may play characters depending on their sexual dominance or lack thereof, doesn't mean that everyone else does, too.

Sorry, was tired when read your post. Got to thinking that they were other people on Gaia >>;;;
And it's just a way to relate characters. This one doesn't just base them on their dominance in a relationship. The main thing is their personality; this one's a writer, so the characters that this one makes are alive in a sense. This one seriously takes time to even pick out names and such for original characters.
This one was just curious.

I don't want to sound like a horrible person, but you give your characters names? Really? What a concept. I never thought to do that.

-rolls eyes-
Yes, and you're using sarcasim. Oh my gosh, perhaps this one is too. Isn't that an amazing concept.
Clearly you didn't get the point. Some people don't care about the name of characters; this one was trying to empasize the point that this one takes time to name characters. This one wasn't just stating the fact that this one named them. It was the time factor.
So thank you for being a smart-faced-jerk.

You're quite welcome. I, for one, have never come across a person who has "not named their characters" so I do not think so highly of myself for doing so. heart

We're talking of two different things. You're taking about the names; this one's talking about time and thought process given to them. So for that know-it-all attitude, you might as well stop wasting your energy, because as far as this one is concerned, you're just making yourself seem even stupider with every post and every time you say that, or anything related.
Have a nice day.
