She followed the male until he stopped, she walked to his side and followed his line of sight to look down upon a lake. Her heart soared and she tried to contain her excitement. Tae lived for water, it presented a aura which calmed her soul and had, in the past, provided her with many a happy memory.
She lost herself for a time and then returned to the present and turned her attention to her companion.
'I believe it is just etiquette to show respect to those ranked higher than us and also applies to those older than us. True respect which I believe you are speaking of, is a different matter.' Adding 'Kato, it's a pleasure.'
She watched as he jumped down the ridge to land on a ledge below. She followed quickly with graceful ease, eager to get closer to the water.

He jumped down again and landed on an island sort of rock that as close enough to the water fall to feel the spray. He glanced back and then moved to the side giving her enough room before he sat down and looked at the water.
"Very true, i'm suprised by your manners though. Most lones don't have and reguard towards others and only care for themselves."
He lapped at the water feeling it run down his dry muzzle. He hadn't had a drink in awhile and was pretty thirsty
"You seem to be eicited to get in he water? Do you like to swim?"

Gracefully she followed, leaping down to land softly in the limited space left on the rock. She watched for him to have his fill and when he raised his head she replied.
'I'm old, perhaps I've seen enough of the world to know manners can get your further than most believe. Anyway most lone wolves are not alone by choice, they have generally suffered a grievance of some sort in there life, perhaps losing their rank and being exiled from the pack. That would leave most feeling slightly bitter and from that point more likely to look out for themselves. I've learnt to care for myself but I have regards for others, if you don't it'll only cause a confrontation...'
She drifted off, she rarely spoke so much in one go, she was more content with listening than lecturing, she smiled inwardly, your getting old, she told herself. She turned her attention to the water. Peace. She shouldn't feel the spray from the waterfall which was gathering in beads on her oily coat but she could feel the moisture in the air, damping her nose. She gazed out upon the vast lake. It was serene, the afternoon light adding a softness to the view and the mid day warmth still lingering around the edge of the cool water.
'Swim, yes, I have spent many an hour swimming.'
She didn't deny herself the pleasure any longer and quickly slipped off the rock and into the icy water. She didn't gasp, she was used to the bite of deep water, it was an old friend. Her forelegs drew her through the water at a pace which was hard to match for many a wolf, after so many hours of swimming she was well equipped for the activity. A few metres from the rock she flipped her whole body, rolling to the side and turning back to stare at the moss wolf on the rock.

He watched as she swam, is was true she was a great swimmer. Though she seemed to belong in the water she would have to some back to the small island rock at a point.
"You don't seem old, i would have never guess your age. You act as though time has passed you in a way we all wish it would. Most lones, true have suffered but suffering should bring more accecptance in my eyes. Not the hatred it brings."
He laied down and watched her swim around as he lapped at the water, rejovunating his mouth and tounge. He wasn't used to talking so much about nothing important, lately his mouth had been filled with words that held the most importance on his life. He shook those thoughts awa ad thought about the nice time he was having now.
"I'm not a big swimmer, i'm more of a climber myself. I love to travel into the mountains whenever i can."

She swam around a bit more before reluctantly returned to the rocky island where the large male was perched. She dragging herself out and didn't bother to shake, instead she sat letting the water roll from her oily coat, the rock beneath her slowly darkening with the moisture.
'I find myself often very near to the mountains, there's less wolves there, which suits me. But I tend to stick to the lower ranges where the plateaus are, you find more prey in those areas and the larger lakes.'
She remembered a time long now when she and Dagda had become close, she was considering taking him as a mate but he had wondered off into the volcanic lands, following a alpha she did not believe in and she could not bring herself to follow. She had not seen him since. She flickered her mind back to the presence.
'It has been nice meeting you Kato. It has been so long since I've been in the pleasurable company of another.'
She looked over the water, as always feeling an unexplainable connection with the landscape and the serenity it Possessed.

He watched her climb back up, she really was something else. He'd never met a wolf that loved to swi so much.
"I think the mountains are the origional birht place of our mother moon. It's always the most magical part of our world where earth and sky fially meet in perfect existance"
He was pratcially a hippy, at leasy that was what most called him even though he was more of a philospher. He liked to think outside the box and feel the true connection with the earth.
"Yes i do agree, its been very nice sharing thoughts with one so intelligent. Dose this mean we are taknig our seperate paths now?"
It did sound a bit like a good bye in some forms. He hoped that they could still be friends, also that he could visit her from time to time.

She didn't return her gaze to the moss coloured wolf and carried on looking out over the water. She didn't hesitate to reply though.
'I have no need to be anywhere right now. I wander where the wind takes me. My stomach is full enough right now and thus I have no desire to hunt. You may remain in my company if you wish.'
It was true, she had no need to be anywhere else and at times like this she did just wonder by herself most of the time enjoying just simply 'being'. His comment about the moon made her smile inside, he seemed in touched with the earth and his surrounds nearly as much as she was, though she guessed he thought about it more than just simply enjoyed it like herself.
'We must travel to the mountains together one day, but for now I wish to stay in the lower lands and fill this frustrating desire for company. Perhaps when it is full you must travel with me back to where I usually roam, for a time at least'
At that she returned her stormy grey eyes to his and waited patiently for his reply. It was very rare for her to present such an offer, usually she liked to travel alone and more to the point, she rarely allowed another to know where to find her.

He chuckled and started into her eyes "I wish to stay with you for the rest of the time. I have no where to be"
It was often that he liked to listen to the heart beat of his being. Or rather of the being aronud him. He was more or less a hippy, even though he never would call himself that, liking yo think of himself more as a wiccan wolf.
"I do agree, you seem to share the same thinking as i do. I enjoy your company very much so. Normally on the full moon i travel to the mountains to be closer to the sky"
He looked away from her gaze and put his ear to the gronud and closed his eyes listening to the heart beat of mother earth around him.
"Can you hear it? Her heart beat?"

She didn't look at him, she just gazed out over the lake and replied softly, almost reverently.
'I can hear it, but it's more than that. I feel it, the pulse of a living, breathing planet. It is all around us, I can feel in on the air, I can see it, smell it, taste it, touch it. I am part of it and I must respect it.'
Tae sat there, she didn't need to say or do anything more, she just simply sat there and in that moment she was just content to simply be. She liked this wolf, she liked the fact he could understand the world in a similar way she did. She flickered her gaze to him and looked upon him in a new light, he wasn't just a passing wolf she had found to satisfy her need for company, he was a kindred spirit and one in which she could imagine spending more time with.

He raised his gaze to the sky and sent up his being. Letting himself go into the air only for a moment until he was pulled back to his body.
"You are truly my pack sister, seperated by the stars and brought into this earth at the same time."
he looked back down at the earth and smiled, it was true. Tae was his sister, they followed the same path.

Tae sat for a moment longer, peering out over the water and then looked over her shoulder at the larger moss green male.
'I believe that too be true.'
It was nice just to sit the company of another wolf, to simply be and not have to being doing anything as such, not trying to make conversation and just simply enjoying existing in that moment. Though she knew it couldn't last forever, he had a mate to get back to and his pack, she wondered how long she had kept him for.
'Does you mate share you views with you?'
She could not imagine the male to have a mate who could not appreciate the earth in a similar way or at least to show an understanding for his way of thinking.

The male lifted his head to her and then to the sky. Thinknig about Callisto and how much he cared for her.
"Callisto is.....indifferent about the views i carry, she has her own way of thinking"
It was true, his mate was a lone before he came alone and was harsh and cold, but opened up to him to show her warm side. He loved her so much. He almost killed himself when she got hurt.
Sighing he looked back at Tae and smiled "What about you? Have you loved?"

She stared upon his smile, it had been such a long time since she had been filled with the joy of loving and being loved by another, but she had had it once.
'I have, a long time ago. He died in a forest fire. I haven't had a mate since.'
Which was true in a sense, she had formed a strong attachment to Dagda for a time, but he had gone off to follow an alpha she just couldn't bring herself to follow herself, he was a tyrant and she wouldn't live under such a creature. She had not long after disappeared into solitude, content for a long time to roam by herself. But her first mate, ah Falcan, how she missed him but that was a long time ago now, she no longer moaned for him, she just had not interest to go actively looking for another mate. These things would happen with time if they should.
She cast her eyes across the water to stare at the far side.

Kato looked at her for a moment more then turned away, she was still in pain for this mate.
"You loved him dearly?"
He didn't mean to push the subject, but he couldn't stand to see his pack sister in pain. Sighing he looked out onto the water.
"He still lives with you, watchnig and never forgetting how happy you made him"
He thought of it often, how the onse lost and loved are still here, in the wind. Carrying the thoughts and wishes of the one they loved while made of flesh.

Tae kept her sight on the far side of the bank and replied
'I shall always love him, he made me who I am now and I shall never forget him. But that does not hinder me in any manner, I would not deny myself another mate should the occasion arise but I am just not actively looking. I just go with the flow of things...'
She cast her eyes back to the moss coloured wolf. She had warmed to his company, he had a steady nature and that made him easy to be around. But she questioned him.
'Surely your mate will be wondering where you are, I have kept you long enough. Perhaps we will meet again my brother.'
She turned to make her way back up the rock face, but waited to allow him to go first, once again acknowledging his slightly higher rank to hers.
