I'll get it.
I'm still working on catching all 493 on my Pearl though.
Maybe I'll have my Pokedex in Pearl complete by the time Platinum comes out.
What ever happened to Orange, Purple, Black, Grey, and White though? They skipped a lot of colors.
Why are they using gems and metals now?
Pretty lame.

And yes, the females do usually look nicer and less ridiculous than the males. xd A contradiction...

FantasyFollower I'm with you! My diamond is my pokemon pride, all 493 legit (except the last legendaries) and yeah this part isn't all great but still a full part of lv 100 pokemon raised the hard way... So I'm definately getting it, ofcourse if it comes to US and distributed to other countries Omg, that's insane. I can't believe that there are almost 500 pokemon. >_< If I get Sapphire, is it like blue? I kinda miss pokemon but at the same time, I don't, you know, lol.

No. Platnum is set in Sinnoh during the winter. It's colder because of the Distortion world thing. There's a definite difference between the outfits in D/P and Platnum, nyo.
