 Taking the bait, Lasuk relocated himself, moving his fluffy self immediately beside the unicorn. The subject at hand was not one of his most fond ones, but it was solely because Rhapsody was just that younger sister he never had. And the one he never wanted as well.
"...Rhapsody is her usual self. Sweet, innocent, playful... and one hundred percent in love with me..." The way the words came out seemed to reflect what she was to him: an annoyance.
"Her heart's in the right place at least, that much I can't complain about."

A bigger laugh came out than was meant. It was followed by several coughs, and a nervous little giggle. Then, an idea popped into her head- well, belly.
"Let's go inside and have something to eat. I have a surprise for you!" Bouncing up, she quickly went inside. Sylvera lit a candle, and placed it on the table. Then she went outside and waiting for Lasuk to go in first.
When the door shut, the kyunru pranced over to the pantry. "Anything on your mind? What would you like to eat? Not hungry? Rather have something to drink?" The questions were coming so fast, even she had trouble keeping up.

Finally giving into Sylvera's constant pleas, Lasuk lofted himself up to his feet and waited to be invited in. Once given the opportunity, he went to the place which had a candle lit. Such seemed to be the place where the unicorn spirit wanted to go.
Seating his haunches down, he had himself a look around. It was quite dark still, even with the candlelight there to make things easier to see. There was a table, and it almost seemed like it was the preparations for a candlelight dinner for two.
Lasuk's white ears perked up at the questions which sped in one ear and just as quickly out the other.
"Calm down, lovely!" he chuckled before giving her questions a bit of thought. "Maybe something to drink... too hot for me to eat right now..."

While she was spilling out questions, Vera had managed to grab a bowl of chocolate ice cream. It had been tough, especially since she had two paws and two hooves. Carefully holding onto the bowl, her wings took her to the table, where she sat for the moment.
She licked some of it, and smiled. It was good, even better than the one at home. "What would you like to drink?" she asked, still licking at the desert. "The shop seems to have everything..." Her eyes wandered across the room, down the hall, and to Lasuk. "I wonder if it has to do with magic?"

None could call Lasuk a complex Kyuria. In fact, he was very simple.
"Water will do nicely." Water, seeds, and women was all he needed. At least he thought so anyways. He couldn't help but wonder how Sylvera was able to manage balancing such awkward human things in her paws. Dwelling a bit upon such a subject, he basically missed the comment about magic.
"What is that you have there? It looks like human food..."

Looking from Lasuk to the ice cream, then back up to Lasuk, Sylvera let out a tiny gasp. "You mean that you have never tried ice cream before?" Getting up to get the water, she began to explain more about this food. "You make it with milk and stuff, I think. It also has a lot of sugar, or maybe it's a certain kind of salt? Or both?" She fluttered back to the table, water bowl being held by her mouth.
"There are many flavors of ice cream. Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Mint, Rocky Road..." Unicorn spirit kyun licked her lips, mind going somewhere else for the moment. When she finally realized that she had zoned out, her eyes blinked several times. "The best part is that it's cold, and excellent to eat in the summer. Though, I have known some to also eat it during the winter."
Pushing the bowl over to her friend, her famous thin smile grew over her face. "Would you like to try some? I have heard that it is a dessert, and I know all desserts are really good." Tonight, it seemed her 'quiet wisdom' was turning into 'talkative silliness.' Though not normal for Vera, it was very cute to see this side of her. Her vulnerable side.

Where as Sylvera's words were very informative, they were not exactly all that appealing to him. Milk, he had before, and it was nice. However, he was not a fan of sweets, and the fact that this cold milk had lots of sugar in it was somewhat of a let-down. Many of the flavors she listed also were quite foreign to him. He'd nod his head as if he understood, but he really didn't. The one called "Rocky Road" really was the one that had him most puzzled of all. Who would want something that was flavored like rocks?
"I wouldn't want to deprive any sweet from my sweet. I will be happy with my water though." With a nod, he leaned over and began to lap up some of the water. With a glance up at the unicorn, he couldn't help but smile. Good moods definitely were more suiting of her.

Shrugging, she thought more for me and continued on. It seemed that in a blink of an eye, she had finished all of her dessert. "Oh, ouch!" she yelped, putting paws to her head. "Brain freeze. I ate the ice cream too fast." Not too long later it was gone, her wings and ears wiggling.
Looking over, she noticed that Lasuk's water was almost gone. "Would you like me to get you some more of that? I would not mind getting it for you."

Brain... freeze? the kyuria couldn't help but ponder. So many puzzling terms he was not familiar with. Whatever it was, it sounded like it really did hurt.
"Naw, don't trouble yourself over that. This was plenty!" And with that, his tongue was now touching the bottom of the bowl. Lapping up the last puddles of water, he sat up and looked straight at Sylvera. With all the life in her, he found her even more beautiful than when he first met her. From what he gathered though, reminding her of her past seemed to be the way to shatter such beauty. He then thought of a question which had been asked of him earlier. It was only fair he ask her the same:
"Sylvera, do you have any goals in life?" his voice gently prodded.

Putting a paw to her chin, she thought about this a moment before answering. "Suppose I should fill out my family's legacy. We are descendants of the world's first unicorns, born to be kept a secret." She removed her paw from her chin, eyes sparkling at Lasuk. "My goal in life is to be happy, and to have made my family proud. Whatever it is that I am supposed to do, I will find it."
With that she bounced out of her chair, and snuggled up to the kyuria. "Thank you for asking me. I guess it was about time I considered what to do with my life. I have just been moping around, and ignoring the world. Well....sort of." A goofy smile crossed her face.

All that came from just one question. Vaguely surprised, Lasuk easily accepted the cuddles and snuggles and returned them with interest.
"You know, for ignoring the world, you are far more worldly than me!" He wasn't going to go into examples, but she knew of this ice cream business and whatever "Rocky Road" was. She obviously had to be paying a little bit of attention to the world to pick such stuff up.
Pausing and searching for a window, he uttered softly so only Sylvera could hear: "I'm sure a star is shining much brighter now." He smiled as well before returning his gaze to hers.

"You feel that I've achieved something?" Hey cerulean eyes grew to the size of coke cans, then squinted. "Are you just being nice?" From what seemed like appearing out of thin air, Vera pulled her veil from behind her back. Taking her hair down, she used the tiny veil as a ribbon. Soon her hair was in a ponytail that swished when she walked or moved her head.
Looking at the very handsome kyuria, she winked at him. She found him even more attractive when he blushed, though it was hard to see with all the fur. "What would you like to do next?"

"I think," he said carefully with a slight pause, "you have achieved more than you think you have." He looked for a window once more, then turned back to Sylvera. My, how fast this one moved, for one moment, she had her hair down, the next it was up and her brilliant eyes were fixated upon him.
As she wished, his cheeks did find themselves a few shades darker with blush. Yet, he did not hesitate nor stutter. He remained calm and collected.
"I think maybe we should go back outside and look out for your star in particular. We should be able to find it tonight, I have a hunch about this."

Nodding, they both were outside in what seemed a moment. Again they laid together, looking up at the stars. Sylvera was in a sphinx pose, her eyes going from one area to the next. She saw the moon, two bright stars, and many others. She located what she had been told of the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper, and knew that they two bright stars were planets. At least, she was positive one of them was.
Searching for a blanket, instead she got close to Lasuk. "You always keep me so warm!" Her eyes closed, and she grinned. "It's really nice. I have also found that when I am hot, you are cool. Funny how that works, eh?" Again she kissed his cheek, and found that her wings were not the only thing aflutter.
Finally, she pointed to a random star. "Think it is that one?" she asked, raising what might have been an eyebrow. She felt something on her tail, and found a firefly stuck in her long, white hair. "Oops..."

After yet another unexpected kiss upon the cheek, Lasuk looked up to the beautiful sky. "Stranger things happen every day." He didn't quite understand how he could keep anyone cool, since he usually got warm really quickly in hot weather.
Not being as knowledgeable about the evening skies and how they worked, he lifted a big white paw and pointed towards one of the planets Sylvera had mentally identified. "That one... I think that one's yours..." He offered a smile and looked back to Sylvera only to find her looking at her own rear.
"...'oops'... what oops?" Glancing back, he saw the slight flicker of the firefly as well. "...oh... that oops..." He wasn't delicate enough to work with these things, so perhaps it would be better if Sylvera took care of it.
