The attacks by his opponent were confusing. They were great strikes, but he failed to even scratch him. He now knew, with the fall back of his foe, that there was a greater plan behind it all.
Kaki saw the slight opening in Stonewall's defense. He decided to attempt a Hostile Butterfly. It was a weak attack, but it is when he uses one sword to impale the enemy in the perfect location to make a deep wound, but not to damage any organs or cut any major arteries or blood vessels. It would do little more then weaken stamina and show off some skill. Hopefully it will scare off any reinforcements.
Kaki goes through with the attack.

The attack did damage, but it didn't seem to matter as he continued to fall back. Everyone had been briefed on the idea that he might have been injured so in terms of the plan it did nothing, but scare some of the weaker ones. Still at the moment they were more scared of their leader than Kaki.
The next ambush point was a short distance off. It would be a while before they reached it and all the while Stonewall was exposed in the back for Kaki to attempt another attack.

"Wait!" he yelled, "Why do you keep walking off with your back exposed?!"
This time Kaki had something a little more damaging planed. He did a simple slice on Stonewall's back. It was hardly anything to freak out about, but still rather painful and easily exhausting.

The light mail he always wore did not cover much of the back. The slash was pretty much impossible to block and although it was not the most damaging attack it would take its toll.
He continues forward trying to reach the next point. He could see the small dirt path that signaled its point in the distance. It would be hard to reach with Kaki following, but it was easier to press forward than turn and engage.
His walk is almost a stagger as he continues on. The blows were nothing unlike what he had experienced before, but they were tiring his body faster. Perhaps the grip upon him was weakening.

Suddenly, a gun went off. A dark cloaked man had his gun pointed in the air. A black shroud with a cigarrete in its mouth. He then pointed a silver revolver adorned with a rosary at Stonewall.
"End of the line," said Ryuko, as he continued to aim.

Two on one were never good odds. Whoever it was controlling him didn't think that Kaki would receive help. It also seemed to realize that it lacked the ability to defeat both of the men.
He would have to relinquish control if he wanted to keep Stonewall. Still first he would have to fight both in order to trick them into attacking him. If all else failed then at least they might kill Stonewall in the battle leaving them to go against him alone.
The blade resting easy at his side, Stonewall turns to face Kaki.

"Ryuko?!" said Kaki surprised. "Do not kill him! He is under a spell and knows not what he does. We must break the bonds without killing him."

"I know," said Ryuko, holstering his revolver and drawing out an MkII pistol instead. The pistol held tranquilizer bullets, "Is it okay if I put him to sleep?!"
He pointed his gun at Stonewall, ready to shoot.

The plan had failed. There was no way he could hold them both off forever and that meant it was impossible to get to the next ambush. It would take forever for a tranquilizer to work, but eventually the two would wear down the body to the point that it could no longer move. He was out of options except hope for the best.
Blade drawn, it was time to rush Kaki. A quick diagonal slash at the upper body. It is easy to block, but if you fail to it would result in quite a bit of pain.

Kaki was distracted by Ryuko as Stonewall made his attack. He managed to mostly block it, but not well enough to prevent blood from being spilled.
"Shoot him now, Ryuko!" shouted Kaki as he fell to one knee.

Ryuko pointed his MkII fast and emptied the clip in a mere five seconds. Ten tranquilzer darts hit Stonewall straight in the back. Ryuko then pulled out a knife and entered a stance, waiting for Stonewall to stand or fall. He reloaded the MkII and pointed the gun at him.

The body was tiring out, but it wasn't out just yet. Ten darts would knock out a normal human being in seconds, but he wasn't human nor normal. The body was passing out slowly, but until it did the attacks would continue.
Kaki was down, but this Ryuko seemed to be the greater threat now. If he could injure both of them then it might be possible to get them to retreat. They would come back, but by then he could have better defenses set up. Stonewall would have be sacrificed, but it could be done without him.
His speed was just a mere fraction of what it had been, but that was still a bit above average. The blade rose he begins to make the attempt to slash...
It is never completed. The body runs down as he reaches the target. The sword falls mid-swing and the body falls to both knees. It would be impossible to continue as originally planned.

"10, eh?" asked Kaki to Ryuko, "Possibly a bit overkill don't you think? Either way, it worked. Should we continue on this path and see who is behind this?"

Ryuko wiped his gun and replaced it back in his holster. He replied, "Not when a man is not himself and puts our lives in mortal peril."
Ryuko spun his silver revolver and laid it on his shoulder, "So let's go."

Kaki had an eire feeling. He pulled out his sliver-tipped arrows and his bow. Ever since the vampires became one of the major races again, (no thanks to Lilith) they had been the cause of most of the trouble in the country. He even had his thousand year old swords made into silver a few years back, but he wanted some distance between him and the foe if they were vampires.
"I don't hear or see anything," said Kaki. "It is unusual. Not even hobbits were this quite; God save their race." Just then the temperature began to drop dramatically.
