I think SE didn't realize there would be such heated debate and that some people simply wouldn't believe the obvious that they put out. They seemed to want to be careful before, not saying anything definite, but I guess someone decided there was no point and that it was easier just to be blunt about Cloud and Tifa being romantically together at the end of the game.

It was probably safe for them to say it now since the FFVII Compilation is nearing its end. Then again, I keep hearing that it's not over yet. o_O I can't really imagine how else they're going to continue it unless they remake the original.

Well, apparently DoC ends in a weird way needing a sequel, and they did say that the compilation will go on for 20 years... we're only at the 10 year mark right now... so who knows. There's also the whereabouts of Cissnei, that make me think something's got to be explained somehow.

Good point. xd And more gloating for us, heheh. Though, I think Cloud and Tifa's story may be over. It'd be very interesting to see if they'll pull a conclusion to how everyone is going to live their life or something. Sounds far-fetched, but hey, if we're going to have a 20 yr compilation, might as well come up with something nice.

Ya, I was saying somewhere else that I wonder if Cloud's story will 'end' with a son. He has Denzel, so it might not work that way, but something tells me Cloud, the protagonist of FFVII, finally having his own flesh and blood little baby would have hillarious results. XP Also adorable results. Hehe.

T'would be the most awesomest. xd Lol, Cloud holding his little son/daughter...aww...that'd be such a beautiful ending. Hopefully his kid won't look weird like Wakka and Lulu's son....

Crisis Core Cloud I heard a while back, that there was also some significance held in the fact that the ring is on her ring finger. It's not on her left, I don't believe. I think it's on her right, but she is, supposedly, the only one to wear the Cloudy-ring on her ring finger, which is supposed to symbolize love when worn on your right ring finger, and engagement or marriage when worn on the left. I think so, anyway. But yeah. A lot of emphasis if only in that one scene was put on her ring, and I think it was supposed to kinda help you realize more that even though Cloud isn't always around, and that he is putting Tifa through so much, she hasn't given up on him yet, and isn't about to even though she has more than enough reason to just say "Screw This." You know?
So, in a way, just the fact that the ring is there is showing how much she believes in Cloud, and how strong of a character she is. :3
-is rambling because she feels bad for not posting much- Looking at the picture provided it looks like the ring's on Tifa's left hand on the finger next to her pinky finger. I wear a silver ring for my girlfriend (she has one too) on my index finger on my left hand to signify our love for each other but for some reason this one and the placement seems much different. I just don't want to get my hopes up on it for it being actual proof. XD

You know the more I look at this, the more I think it means something. They zoom in so painfully obviously on the ring. It means something.

It's true, the camera places emphasis on Tifa's hand in that scene even though we know that she isn't the only one Cloud gave the ring to. Can't say what it might really mean though. We can't say that it represents their love since it's not on her left hand but....don't know. What kind of interpretations do you guys have?
