Vara was filled for sympathy for this stallion she had just barely met. She thought of her own children, the ones that she held most dear to her in life even more than her beloved mate. It was no wonder that Apple was sad because of it. If there was some way she could help...
"I'll keep a look out for your children, if you'd describe them to me," she offered gently. "Perhaps now that they're older they'd see things differently. There is true value in family ties and sometimes when you're young you can't see that as well." Her smile had the edge of sadness to it, an old regret in her heart awakening. "I know that I didn't appreciate my family enough when I was younger. I have a new and wonderful family now but still think of the one I left behind. Maybe it's the same with your children."

It had been a long time since the stallion had seen his children last, but he knew their faces. They were burned into his brain the first day he ever saw the two of them. He smiled when he closed his eyes and remembered running around with Calantha and her mother.
"Both have wings. Calantha is a lighter grey than I am and has apples just like me, but hers are smaller." His eyes stayed shut as he imagined his children. "Otsilas is a darker grey with spots all over." The stallion opened his silver eyes to look to the mare with a smile on his maw. "I plan to go looking for them." His decision was made, he would find them as soon as he could. Figure out how the both of them were doing. He smiled softly at the mare. "I think I will go find them now. It has been nice talking to you..." With that, he turned and began trotting and looking around at the environment closely. They would show up eventually... he hoped.
