bella smirks, letting him get a bit on a leads then gos into a smooth canter watching him go in a fast-paced run, she does to and catches up with him enjoying the fact that she was run beside someone else, looking ahead she starts to see a small steam that would lead them to the lake, she watches him carefully waiting for the right time to get ahead of him

Hidalgo doesn't quite know what to do. He'd never lost a race before, but right now he was racing a pretty mare. Though, since it was such a short sprint, and if she was anything of a racer, she would most likely beat him soundly, but it would be a good loss. He gathered his muscles, ready for the last push from her as they neared a stream that lead to the lake. One ear was turned back to listen to the thundering of her hooves.

bella watching him again she starts to put a little more speed, getting ahead of him a little bit as they get closer to the steam smirking she thinks about jumping the steam if it comes to it she speeds up a bit more then turns to watch him, she slides to a stop right before the steam at looks at him " we are almost there."

Hidalgo tucked his hooves under him as he came to the edge of the stream, and gave a mighty push with his back legs. Muscles uncoiled as his legs extended in the leap that he took to cross the stream. He stretched ou his front legs in md flight to prepair himself for the landing on the other side, which he occomplished with a light movement. But after he landed, he turned back to Bella, thenloswered himself into the water, and headed back to Bella's side. Really? We're almost there? He smiled. It's almost too bad. I was enjoying running with you.

she watches him leap aross the steam, she stares in awe as he make the leap look so easy, she then watches him walk towards her and enters the water as well "yes the lake is just up that hill there, I've enjoyed this too" she points back the way he just came" wow that leap was very cool Hidalgo, you are very brave." she smiles at him

He smiled, and nodded his head at the compliment. Thank you, but I'm not really that brave. I just saw how far away the other bank was, and knew I could make it. Though it is always nice to hear a compliment from a pretty mare. He moved so he could walk beside her, as they walked through the stream. If I may be so bold to ask, what is your home like? I have been to many places, but I find that those who live where I've been can tell me the most fascinating stories that I never seem to be able to discover as I pass through, and it makes each place more interesting.

Bella smiles " your welcome." blushing she turns her head to hide it a bit before looking at him, she was enjoying walking beside him in the steam " well there are great big mountains with snow on them, below them are wallfalls as far as the eye can see, with flowers growing anywhere they can find root, there are also lots of birds there, the trees are very colorful, there is also a large spring in the heart of the valley, there are lots of fruit growing around there, in the valley." she looks at him once on the other side of the steam she walks out of the water and looks at the hill

For the fun of it, Hidalgo matched his pace with hers so that it sounded like only one horse walked in the cool water, and he couldn't help but smile. It sounds like a very beautiful place. I haven't been to anywhere quite like that. He made his way towards the bank as she did, though he didn't quite see a depression at the other side of the rock, and slipped. He slid back down the small hill on his haunches, landing in the water. Quickly, he picked himself back up and headed up the bank again, raising his head and moving with a high step as if nothing had happened.

She smiles wider as he smiles too " thanks, really maybe someday I will take you there and let you see for yourself, however it would take a couple of hours to get there." hearing something she turns around to see him coming out of the water, she smiles again, looking him over, she liked what she saw " there are beauty flowers on the top of the hill."

It sounds like a nice trip, and at least there would be good company. He tried to shake himself discreetly to try and get the extra water off of his coat, before turning his attention fully to her again. Really? We should go over and see them. I'm always open for exploring and seeing new things. What do you think?

Hidalgo watched Bella throw her head and trot off playfully, like a young filly new to the early spring. He had to admit, he was feeling rather frisky himself; wanting to bolt ahead and kick up his heels like he was a young colt once more. But he didn't. The run had helped temper his extra energy a bit, but seeing her playful just brought it all forth again. He kicked his heels a little as he broke into a canter, catching up to the blue and white mare before turning on heel to move back beside her. He pivoted once more on a hoof, and settled in beside her, feeling slightly embarrassed about his show of youthfulness, but then again enjoying trying to show off to a pretty mare, if only for a moment.

Bella watches him, she smirks at him as he settles beside him " this feels so good, it has been a long time since I played like this." she smiles, as they get to the top of the hill where the flowers are, starting to stop she looks at them slowly " Irisies." she looks up seeing the lake, " look there, the lake looks so beautful from here."

He nods. Yes, it's nice to play like this as well. It's been a while as well since I was able to. He stands beside her on the hill, and looks out over to the lake. It is really beautiful. I bet it's really cold though, since it would be snow-water. But it does make it rather beautiful. He stood silently beside her, watching the water surface ripple with a slight breeze.

she smiles " I'm glad that we could play together." she giggles and looks at the water " yeah, I wish it was a bit warmer so we could swin in it." she looks at him and smiles " lets go down there, I'm getting kind of thisty." she starts over the hill and down smirking she starts to kick her heels a little as she walks
