OKAY EVERYONE!!
I have decided that for this tournament, the entrance fee will be 1,500 gold per person. With 16 competitors, the total prize money contributed by each player will amount to 24,000. I myself will throw in an extra 1,000 to make the total prize money 25,000 gold, which will be divided among the first place and second place winners of the tournament. Second place will receive 10,000 and first place will earn 15,000 as well as be eligible for the bonus rounds and prizes. The sooner I get your payments, the better for all involved. Don't forget, the tournament will begin on June 7th. Be ready.

i am here fromt he 7 to the 13 then gone without a comp for a week, but then i can get back on. i would still like to participate though...

The Summer Tournament subforum is now open for participation. The Tournament will begin on June 7th, but until then, each participant is free to socialize at a pre-game reception in their honor. Additional information about the tournament is written in the overview, which is not a final draft yet, so bear in mind to check it as regularly as you see fit until I announce otherwise.

i am so excited about this tourney it isnt even funny. Even though i am probably going to be eliminated in round number one......dang........

Just curious. I'm involved with an organization that happens to be holding a camp for the exact week you'll be gone, so it struck me as peculiar.

Attention participants. Each of you needs to get to the Shadows Summer Tournament forum and post in the reception thread. Instructions related to how the bracket will be set up have been given. If you do not follow those directions, you will delay the beginning of the tournament.

The day it all starts. All fighters participating in Round 1 must post within 2 days (June 9th) or else they will disqualified. Spectators are welcome to participate in the guild event - otherwise it wouldn't be a guild event - but I must request that everyone not participating in a match observe the fights from the lounge (which will be described in detail tomorrow). Judges as well as other guild members are welcome to participate together so long as they keep their identities anonymous from each other everyone else.
Good luck to all 13 participants in this tournament and may the best win.
