Letting Orpheus show him the arm motions and listening to him. Part of himself was telling him that this was such a waste of energy, but useful when on the serface. "Thanks," he said to Orpheus as he practiced the motions.
Takeing one of the boards, nodds and smiles. Wipping his tail in a slow motion that takes him around the pool. But still wanted to dive in the deep end.

"Now the idea of the boards is to learn proper leg work, once you think your ready to try both of them together just let the board float next to you. You can try it out as many times as you like and we will see how it goes."
None of Orpheus' classes had time limits, after all how could one properly learn to fly or swim when they were restricted by time?

Kliken kicked his feet a bit, moving in slow and lazy circles on the paddle board. It was pretty fun but not exactly what he was wanting to do, he wanted to learn to swim for real. As such he let his feet sink back to the bottom so that he could try out combining the paddling of his hands with the kicking of his feet.
Something that would prove a little harder then it sounded though since he kept going under when he tried. He didn't have any fear of the water so when he did go under he found himself opening his jewel toned eyes to look around to see what under water looked like. He saw lots of feet and tails from this angle.

After slithering his way around the pool on the board, Drez finally deside on trying without the board. So letting the board float next to him and started to slither and use his arms like the teacher had showed him to swim. But after a few minutes of useing his hands as he was shown, his arms moved to the side of his body like he has always swimed. His reptile mind overrided what he was learning as it was much more streamline to have them rest at the side of his body. It did eark him and tried several more times, but still came to the same result and was a little miffted. Then getting his board and shruged that he couldn't go against his nature and waited to see if there was anything else they would learn.

Orpheus watched his trio of students before giving a nod of his head, "Your all doing very well." He murmured making a few mental notes that he had to write down on the clip boards about how things were going.
He looked over at Kliken, tilting his head to the side before he sank under the water to see what the leech boy was doing. He looked at him through the water, watching closely. He seemed to be having no trouble at all in holding his breath... though the teacher started to wonder if he were holding his breath at all. Maybe this student was like Chath, able to breath under water?
He'd have to make a note of it and then see about getting a follow up class. He pointed up before breaking the surface once more, "Alright, now that everyone seems to be getting the hang of it I want you to swim around as you like. I will be right, will watch, and will make sure everyone is safe."

Kliken was rather surprised when the teacher joined him under the water, had even given the man a small smile. Underwater was fun, everyone and everything looked so different. He'd had fun watching the way the snake boy was swimming to. He wondered he could figure out how to do wiggle swimming, the sort that didn't use his arms... he decided he'd have to figure out normal swimming first and then ask Drez to show him.
He came up out of the water when the teacher motioned for him to do so, listening to the man's directions before nodding. Swimming as they would like? Sounded fun.

Maybe later he would try the arm swimming and see if it what the effect would be when he was at home in his saltwater pool. Comming back out of the water with glee when he heard that he could go anywhere in the pool, but not really thinking that Mr. Orpheus would like it much if he when to the deep end, but he wasn't thinking about that. As Drez so wanted to go check out every inch of this pool from underwater. Something that he was never aware of that he would super oxignate his lungs when he was going to dive. Takeing one last slow deep breath he dived down straight to the bottom of the pool and went exploring.

Orpheus looked between the three children as they worked on their swimming. From Drez, to Azoc, to Kliken giving them each a moment of his attention before moving on to repeat... when he came back to Drez though the boy was gone. He searched around the area of the pool that he'd marked off before turning completely around. He could see blue moving through the deeper part of the pool and he took a step toward the rope. He was about to call to Drez to come back to the shallow end but realized the boy wouldn't hear him.
Then there was a splash behind him as Kliken went back under the water and he turned around to check on where he was going. For the moment it looked only as if the leech were interested in going under. He made a mental note of it, checked where the girl was at, before approaching the rope.
He reached a hand out over it and slapped his hand against the surface hoping to get the attention of the boy. It was his fault, he hadn't clarified that they could swim as they liked in the shallow end... though he had asked them to stay there at the beginning of the class.

Kliken gave a bit of an underwater pout when he found the snake boy to be no where in sight. He had passed by the rope that marked off where they could and couldn't swim, something that made Kliken's eyes go wide under the water. Wow... truly Drez must be daring to cross by the barrier that the teacher had set up.
The little leech used the combination of paddling with his arms and kicking with his feet to go to the edge of the shallow end, watching where the snake was swimming at. For a moment he wished he were brave enough to follow but even the thought of upsetting the teacher set his heart to thudding in his chest.
He gave a little squeak, bubbles escaping from his mouth when the teacher suddenly slapped at the surface of the water and he pushed up and out of the water, coughing a bit. That had been a surprise he thought to himself, spitting out the water he'd inhaled.

Water was Drez happy place, a place where he could forget his worries and he just love to explore new places too. Just as he explored one section of the pool he heard a what was a slap on the water serface. Turning to 'see' who was doing it and find that Mr. Orpheus and Kliken were where the rope was and also Drez could smell that there teacher was a little upset and he figured out that the teacher still didn't want him to go to the deep end. Well there went his thought of seddling on the bottem for a little bit to think and headed back to where Mr. Orpheus was. Swimming past the rope, surfaceing and to here what was comming.

Orpheus gave a sighing sound of relief when Drez surfaced safely, "Thank you." He said first, "I am sorry, for the moment nobody can swim passed this rope marking. I have to many kids to watch after." He explained to Drez. He wished he could let them all swim around as they liked but since they were all so young he didn't want to risk it or them.
"If you were willing to come in another day I could see about opening the pool to just you. I could bring in someone to swim with you if you like." Though that was up to said brat and his current mood set at the time, "For now though just a little more swimming on this side and we should be done." He just had to see how well the other two progressed.
He turned to look over at Kliken and Azoc, checking on them before turning back to Drez glad to have them all herded back to where he could easily see them.

Kliken had surfaced when Drez had, afraid that the snake boy was going to get in trouble... the teacher didn't sound super angry though and oddly there was no yelling. He sank back into the water up to just below his eyes and listened carefully.
The class was almost over he realized, not liking the idea. The class was fun, he got to meet new people and be out of sight of the techs for a while. He sank back under the water do practice more of his paddling and kicking.

With all the scent of fear in the water, Drez thought that he was going to be in big trouble. But it wasn't the case when he was flicking his tougne after he surfaced. "I'm sorry too,I should have asked. But I just wanted to explore the whole pool and dive." he replied as he was still confused about the reaction from Mr. Orpheus. So he wasn't going to push is luck anymore and deside to stay in the shallow end.
"Yes I am. I will have to talk to my mother about it and I will have her contact you about a time." With a huge smile on his face as he when back to swimming and figure out who Orpheus was talking about.
Surfaceing he thought he would have a little fun with Kliken. Back under the water he spots Kliken and waits for an opening to take him for a ride. Seeing the opening Drez rushes foward, grabing Kliken's hands, fliping on his back to swim as he brings Kliken up closer to his chest to make sure his legs didn't get in the way of his tail. Then takeing Kliken for a ride around the pool with a huge smile on his face as he was haveing lots of fun.

"Alright, I will await the call." He called to the snake boy, glad that he agreed to staying on the shallow end for the remainder of the class.
Orpheus sloshed over to the edge of the pool, he leaned against the side, dried his hand off on a towel and started to write down some notes while watching the kids play. They were doing pretty well he decided, letting them enjoy themselves.

Kliken let out some bubbles and his sound of surprise was lost under the water as he found himself captured and pulled along under the water by the blue snake boy. He relaxed only after he realized that the other boy was just giving him a ride and not being scary, he even gave a little smile. This was a lot of fun, he found himself wishing he had a tail that could be used to swim under water so well, so fast.

Orpheus finished doing his notes and pulled himself up and out of the pool, "Alright kids! Everyone hop out and get a towel!" He called to the trio.

Drez had just surfaced to hear that they were to get out of the pool. He just wanted to keep on swimming, but he would just do that when he got home as this pools water made him slightly ichy. Swimming to the edge of the pool to let go of Kliken where he could get out as well. Climbing out and offereing a hand to Kliken to help him out of the pool. "That was a lot of fun. We will have to do get together sometime soon." he said to Kliken.
After helping Kliken, Drez went over to his towel and wraped it around himself and waited.

Kliken reached up to take Drez's hand and was glad for the hand up, "I... feel a lot heavier out of the water." He said, sounding a bit surprised. He was feeling weighed down and a little sad to be out of the water. It had felt so nice to get to swim like that!
"Thank you, was fun." He said to Drez, the snake ride he'd gotten was great! Getting pulled along under the water like that was so exciting!

Orpheus smiled, getting some towels and gave one to each of the kids so they could dry off, "You all did really well today, Kliken and Drez. I thank you for your participation." He turned to look over to Azoc, "If you could come back for another session to make sure that you got it I think it would be best."
He leaned over to get his clipboard and notes, "I will send out notes home on how you did and class prizes soon. Your all dismissed."

"So do I, but its something that you get use to. But I will have to ask my mother if you can come over and swim in my pool. Thats if you want to, Kliken." Still smileing and wondered if saltwater wouldn't be good for Kliken. But he knew the pool was up for a large clean up and a freshwater time.
"Your welcome and I had fun as well,"
Drez was a little sad that the class was going to be over, but he wanted go and make some beads, as well as get some training with his uncle in as well. "Thats cool." he said as they were going to be getting a prize and he wondered what it would be.

Orpheus gave a smile as he watched the two boys talk, allowing them to do so while he gathered his notes and readied everyone to go. It had been a good, successful class and he hoped that everyone at least knew the basics of swimming now, "Anytime you want to make use of the pool just have word sent to me, I will make sure there is a lifeguard on duty either myself or someone else I believe is trustworthy."
With that he allowed the three kids to finish getting ready to meet with their parents of respective guardians.
