Ahmm...
At first, i wasnt sure at all what pairing i liked xD i was really new to bleach, and not completely into it as much as i am now...so like i saw this guild, and i was like AHUMMM....and i was like, i love them both, so lets see how it is..
maybe it was the fanarts? fanfictions? THE ANIME?? I HAVE NO IDEA xD but i like them alot =O
plus the pRoN with them is a lot hotter too =P

First off, I'm very serious about shippings. Once I ship a couple, I NEVER EVER change it/stop shipping it. I ship it forever. XD I'm not even kidding. Shippings I shipped in books when I was in 5th grade are STILL being shipped by me today. razz So, once I ship a couple, as time goes on, I just grow to love them even more and more.
Ichiruki is my favorite shipping in Bleach because I believe that they're just too perfect for eachother...and they just light up the show when they're together. ^_^

Even in the manga, the pairing seems so real to me... sure they don't have a confession scene, but like at Hueco Mundo, Ichigo and Rukia would just look each other in the eye and Ichigo fights with his best.

ichigo and rukia are a nice couple.
but ichigo is still human and rukia goes to Soul Society and stuff
they're both soul reapers that's what bonds them almost.
if ichigo didn't have any reitsu(spelling) they wouldn't have really met properly.

xBeautiful_Earth_Fairyx There have been times when I have thought "Orihime and Ichigo would be cute together." But in the end Ichigo and Rukia is the best. Their relationship is very realistic and you don't see than as often any more. I like how Rukia fights for herself and doesn't put up with anything. I think Orihime could give Ichigo a more emotional support system but Rukia can do that as well and still give him a butt kicking. Rukia is strong enough to protect herself (phsically and mentally) and is a woman who is worthy of being by Ichigo's side. They look very cute together.

Ichigo and Rukia...well let's face it.
Rukia MADE Ichigo into the man he is now. Not just by giving him his Shinigami powers, she helped him accept his mother's death, she gave him strength, she stood by him and by everyone else when the rest of Soul Society said Inoue was a traitor.
She can fight for herself!
That's a big one. Orihime...what can she do? Heal. Yes. Barrier. Yes. But she RARELY uses her attack!
What can Rukia do?
Kido! She can put a barrier, she can stun, she heal.
Her sword has three attacks that we've seen and they are powerful. Ichigo, no doubt, will worry about her because she's his friend...but he doesn't have to be like "Oh god! I hope Rukia's Okay!"
Because she can take care of herself.
Not to mention -fangirl squeal-
Kubo said in an interview that Rukia was the first character he made. But he felt she wasn't strong enough to be the lead protagonist.
Then he made Ichigo to be the opposite of Rukia.
o_O HE MADE THEM FOR EACHOTHER!!!!
I don't think we will ever have this big confessing scene like "OH Ichigo! I love you!"
Nope. None of that.
I think, Rukia will say something like. "So I'm staying in Kakura."
Ichigo: "What?"
Rukia: "Soul Society assigned me here...permanently..."
Ichigo: "So...you're staying?"
Then they would have this awesome 'look' at each other and he'd grin, she'd smile, and it would say EVERYTHING it needed to say.

i really don't have a reason why i like rukio and ichigo together, it just seems to work. also, they have some really good banter. the fanart and fanfiction is amazing.
