"All paths are hard to wander for they bring pain and anguish. Happiness and Sadness. Loneliness and Depression. But further those with a strong hear long not to yield, they yearn to see where then end of their journey takes them, for those with weak heart may fade, but one as strong as a god will stand, taking only a step at a time." he said thinking carefully about how to position the words.
"In due time we all change, we all grow and tire with age. But that brings us wisdom for the youth. Wisdom for those minds which are exploring the dark unknown. We will never know which path we will path, which decision we should follow. Our hearts guide us, they bring us a path through our mind and we follow it with our eyes closed. Though the wiser keep them open most close them in fear of the darkness and shadow that looms over the path." the words grew more and more meaningful as the dust spoke them, a few even who passed by listened in, intent on what he was talking about.
"Krinn, you know little yet of the expansive world around you. I know little compared to the knowledge of those older, but we learn slowly to accept those feelings and notions which guide us through life. We life only for a short time, so I advise you to take best what comes to you and don't put it off. Be that of what you can be, and not what you are. Take the best, not the easiest, even if it means life itself will become a bit harder. Find love in the wisest of places, and trust your heart." he spoke again detailing each word as he looked up into the now gray sky, not wanting to leave this spot.
He himself still had much to learn..

Krinn listened to him - he'd grown accustomed to taking in every word that the older dust said. Some of what he was hearing was hard to understand, and even harder to put into his mind and solve. But he still sat and carefully brought along each sentence and tried to figure out the full meaning behind the words the other man was speaking. He nodded at some points, but for the most part stayed quite silent and ever so still. The roll of thunder echoed along the horizon, bringing with it the thought of rain once again. "I suppose learning how to live through the pain of the path you choose is something you have to learn first hand, right?" Krinn asked softly, without any negative tone in his voice. After all, it was pure curiousity. Children tended to have a lot of it. "And that we never know if we choose the completely correct path until we reach the end." He looked over at Hymn, studying his face for a moment, as if to imagine what there was to learn in such a large world. "But thats part of the adventure isnt it? And in the end, you'll have gained wisdom, whether or not the path was the best choice or not."
Krinn let out a loose breath and fell over on his back, staring at the sky for a moment. "The wise will keep their eyes open..." He repeated for a moment, wondering if the stars would come out that night or if the clouds would conceal them again. "But even the wise cant be brave enough all the time, can they? And I'm sure that they can only give so much of their wisdom to the youth before they must make their own decision to learn it all." He paused and closed his eyes, trying to imagine how much information had yet to be revealed to him. "Trusting your heart sounds difficult....but then again, nothings ever easy. And it sounds like its the only way to learn as much as you can with the time given." He sat up a bit on his elbows, head tilted back, the grass cool against his skin. "But what if there are forks in the road? What if you come to a part in the path where you have to choose? Do we still trust our hearts to guide us? How can we be sure its the right choice?"
Krinn let a small sigh slip through his lips. There was so much to learn, yet he felt as if he were learning all of it at the speed of a snail. Perhaps that was just how life was sometimes.

"Krinn, your connection to that of what I said is smart, but don't memorize it all, for you will learn it again someday. Memorize the parts you like, but what I said will never be the exact answer to your path." he said pressing the part about memorizing things. Keeping his head tilted back he felt the thunder ripple across the ground and the sky crack.
Rain began pouring slowly down on the town. A few people fussed at the storm running for cover, but Hymn stayed still. The rain fell on his face, onto the massive plain. They were perhaps the only thing with a dictated life. They would fall, than rise, and fall again. Even the wisest knew that there was no other path for them. "Life comes at you fast, so don't hesitate.." he began striking up song. And slowly the passing people came quiet as they slowed, hushing their tone so quiet as to listen to the beautiful voice.

"Mm...I'll remember that." Krinn said before listening to the thunder roar once more. It spoke of rain, and how it would once again come down and share life. Krinn smiled contently as the smooth droplets whispered hello against his face, before dripping down onto the grass they sat among. He smiled, unlike others who frowned as the rain started to pour. Because what life would there be if they didnt have rain to give everything what it needed?
The song seemed to flow naturally from the older dusts lips, and Krinn wondered how Hymn had managed to create such a beautiful song. We are all unique.. The earlier conversation struck a chord in Krinn and he thought of whether or not this was one of Hymns unique traits. And what a nice one too. Krinn didnt think there was a being on earth that couldnt be tamed by such a divine song. Waiting until the other finished his song, Krinn held up his palm, rain droplets collecting and overflowing in his palm for a moment before he leaned forward and glanced over at Hymn. "Dont worry," He said as the song ended with a smile. "I wouldnt even dream of hesitating." He looked back up at the endless horizon, the one that would be everchanging. Just like life was. "I wanna learn as much as I can. And I cant do that if I stop to think its too unpredictable."

"That's good." Hymn whispered staring up at the moving gray clouds. They moved in their own path, the wind silently pushing them along and helping them reach their final destination. Their life like ours, was unpredicted. Everything on this earth moved silently through it's own path weather they liked it or now. Hymn acknowledged this with a smirk on the edge of his lips and stood up raising a hand toward the sky where he felt the tiny droplets of rain fall seamlessly onto the smooth skin and slide down his arm. "Such beauty.." he whispered..

Shortly following his actions, Krinn stood as well, shaking off some of the water droplets from his hair. They were only replaced by new ones though, and the young dust child didnt seem to mind. The silence was soothing, as was the rain. Finding wonder in every little thing life seemed to throw at them was something that could always keep thoughts on ones mind. And Krinn now stared at the gray clouds. Most people found them bad, and unlucky. He found them amazing and powerful. They could cry with rage or sing with their own strange language. And no one would ever be able to understand. But that was where the true beauty of it lay. In the unknown parts, the parts that seemed to make everyone question it. Smiling at Hymns words, he nodded and stepped forward, clasping his hands behind him as he turned his face towards the onslaught of raindrops, their touch calm and fearless. "I'm sure theres beauty in everything, everywhere...." He paused and let the rain become the only noise. "I'm hoping to see a lot of it when I grow up. What about you?" He said, looking over at the other for a moment. What are your dreams, he wanted to ask. What do you want to see before this world moves on?

"We all do," he replied taking his hands too down from the thundering sky and propelling himself on his feet with a slight push. He felt the rain slide down his nose and onto the smooth lips where the sunk into small crevices into is mouth. The rain matted his hair thick on and was noticeable. Prying off the bands that held the tail in he felt it come free and the water, still sticking, resulted in him having to pull it loose himself.
Pleased that his hair was neither a problem he looked again at Krinn and to the sky. The clouds shook unsteadily as people themselves wandered. Were their lives such as that of their own. Unmistakeably he could say yes, but only to an extent. Feeling the mud shift at his wait he smiled, the water slowly starting to build up on the path. He kept unmoving though, letting the small stream rise as the rain poured and soak his feet, the mud vacuuming them up as well. What a wondrous world.

Krinn glanced over at the older male for a moment as he eyed the rain and hummed in thought. Yes, he decided, it was beautiful. Stretching his arms out behind him, Krinn wondered how much there was in the world, and how much of it people had discovered so far. What more was there to find, when so many things had already been discovered? Krinn mulled it over in his mind and smiled to himself. Maybe the list of possibilities were endless, he thought, brushing his glistening wet hair back behind his ear. And maybe there was much more to life then he had ever thought in the first place. Looking back, he realized that he needed to come back down to earth sometime, and looked over at Hymn, clasping his hands behind his back and looked over at Hymn.
"I dont mean to rain on anyones parade..." He began, glancing back at the groceries. "But would it be a good idea to get your groceries to your house before they get soaked?" It seemed valid enough to him. Afterall, Lan had always hated it whenever he'd brought home sogging wet stuff that he had bought for the other. Especially when it was food or ingrediants. Krinn wondered how far away the others house was from the road they had been walking along, and glanced at the sky again. I truly am envious of the sky. He thought to himself, before waiting for Hymns reply once more.

Hymn stirred as the younger dust spoke to him. Than turning in time to catch the question he smiled looking down at the bags of groceries. "I guess I Must.." he said reaching down and lifting them up off the ground. The groceries were a bit heavier compared to earlier but still here lift-able. Sighing just a bit he looked to Krinn and smiled "Well, I guess this is where we depart." Bowing just a bit he turned and began to walk at a slow pace, away from the other.
What a bright young dust... Hymn wondered if he would follow, or maybe go home to his guardian, no matter, the eloquent meeting would wander his mind for a while.

"I suppose." Krinn said lightly as the other started to walk towards his house. Krinn watched him go, mulling over the new, if not a bit wierd information that he had been given that day. Then an absent thought rammed into his head. He was supposed to pick up groceries for the old man and the animals. "Oh no..." He whispered to himself with a small chuckle. Then he raised a hand even if Hymns back was to him. "Hope to see you again someday!" He said, before turning on his heel and kicking into high gear, sprinting off in the other direction to grab a towel from the apartment and drop by the store to reassure the old man he would be getting the stuff. But as he did all of that, his thoughts still flickered back to Hymn and his strange talk. But he didnt find the other troubling at all. More like a strange older brother figure. With a grin, he looked over his shoulder once more before rounding the corner back into town.
Surely he wouldnt mind meeting the other in the near future once more. Whether by coincidence, or fate. The dust had a lot to think about inbetween those two points though....
lets sing. lets sing in the rain ;; end.
