Bishop trailed after the older girl , feeling energized by her enthusiasm. " Do they have a sign too?" Although they were very simple looking Bishop was interested in the small red breasted birds. Perhaps there was something special about then that they could read on their sign.. if they had one.
" What sort of temple?" Bishop asked slowly, amber eyes widening as she stared at Kisala. Was this nice girl some sort of priestess who sacrificed birds at her temple to a strange goddess?

Kisala looked at the signs, but didn't see one for the redbird. She shrugged, "I don't think he's got one. I guess it's 'cause he's not so uncommon as the others."
She grinned, 'I dunno, a regular sort of Temple? Mom teaches martial arts there, and the monks do sand pictures and stuff. I think I remember mom saying something about it being Buddhist? Not that I know what that means."

" Do you know how to make sand paintings?" Bishop wasn't sure exactly what those would be. She'd seen sand before but never seen anyone paint with it. Wouldn't it be boring since it was all one colour?
On the bright side it didn't seem like this girl was an evil priestess.
