Krimz0r Yes, I am. But my parents and all relatives are finnish, so I'm finnish too. : whee : domokun Why are there so many people that are Finnish-Swedish? Do Finland and Sweden have some kind of relationship or something? ^^

Do Finland and Sweden have some kind of relationship or something? ^^ When there was a war in Finland, about 70 years ago I think, many finnish people came to Sweden. Many stayed and started to work here too.

I s'pose you got me from the Swedish guild too. I'm not actually Swedish though, I'm from New Zealand. (But I've heard my Swedish is spelnder and better than most swedes)
How about doing some simple lessons, such as greetings, colours and simple thing like that?

CarniverousShovel I live in Sweden and i think it's a great language to learn i recommend it to everybody 3nodding wink That's not true, first, Swedish is a very hard language to learn, and second, there aren't many people who speak Swedish. Instead of learning Swedish, people should learn English, Spanish or France

In Finland, swedish is compulsory subject to study in schools only because of Finnish history and 6% of population in Finland is either finnish-swedish or swedish.. I have studied swedish about 7 years and I use it while in Stockholm but not in Finland..
