Israfel gave a laugh at her reaction. She clearly wasn't expecting the playful splash but he was glad to see she wasn't upset over it and instead giggled and splashed him back. "I don't think it's cold!" he said and splashed her yet again, happy for the companionship and the game to break the ice.

"Well, I do. I haven't been wading in the stream as long as you have!" Alyna laughed and splashed him back, edging closer to him with each splash. She was very glad that she had bumped into him. He was intriguing, and funny, and he seemed so confident and strong. He tied her heart into knots without any effort at all, and though she was confused about these new feelings, she knew that she wanted to get closer to this dashing white stallion.

"Oh nonsense! You have been standing here long enough to be used to it by now! Doesn't matter how long I have been in it." he said chuckling and continued to splash the white spotted mare. The curls in his mane were soaked and straightening under the weight of the water and he was positive he looked rather dreadful but he didn't care in the slightest bit. He was glad he had met this mare as she was more fun than the Soquili he lived with, including his nephew who liked to get into trouble. He noticed her inching her way closer to him and this intrigued him an awful lot and he decided to keep his ground and see how close she would come on her own. He was unaware of how much he was affecting her.

"Perhaps it doesn't matter," she said playfully, "But how cold the water is does affect how long I stay in it." Alyna was finding it hard to think straight around him. The way his curls hung around his face intrigued her, and even though he was dripping wet, he still looked dashing and debonair. Almost as if she couldn't help herself, she brushed up against his side gently. She wondered what he would do, wondered if he knew what these strange feelings of hers were.

"Oh really? You wouldn't stay in it just because I was in it?" he asked playfully as she yet again brushed up against him. This time he knew it wasn't an accident and smiled at her before playfully nipping at her shoulder and giving her another splash. He wondered what kind of game she was up to but was happy to play along.

Alyna gave him a startled sort of look. "Well...I suppose...if you were in it...then I'd stay even if it was cold." She giggled as he nipped at her shoulder. She wondered yet again about these strange feelings. She returned the playfulness, splashing him a bit, nipping at his mane, giving herself an excuse to get closer to him yet again, even to the extent of giving him a little nuzzle, although she was blushing very pink when she did so.

He gave a laugh at her startled look and blushing. She seemed like a rather shy one at first but by her bold moves he guessed that she was not usually this shy. "Well then I will take that as a compliment." he said smiling and was a bit suprised at her nuzzle. He had a thought then and stopped his play and moved in close to her, looking into her eyes as he moved in, and when they were just inches apart he nuzzled her gently on the cheek and waited for her reaction.

Alyna was captivated by his eyes as he moved closer to her. Such a beautiful pale blue, they were almost grey, yet still so stunning that her knees went all weak. At his touch, she leaned into him slightly, nuzzling him back, all the while blushing a charming pink. Unable to voice her strange feelings for this stallion, she merely smiled softly at him, an inviting and uncertain sort of smile.

He smiled back at her and watched as she blushed even more. This reaction of blushing made him feel, well special somehow seeing as he was the one making it happen. He was quite sure though as to why she blushed so much and it interested him greatly. He was very pleased though that she accepted his advancement and even nuzzled him back. "Why do you blush so? Are you that shy because I have a feeling you aren't like that normally." he asked rather boldly but he couldn't help himself.

Alyna pondered that exact same question. Why was she blushing so much? It was true, she had never been shy, and she wondered why she was acting so bashful around him. "Perhaps it is because you are here." She replied a silly little smile on her face. "And because...because you intrigue me...in ways that no other ever has." Her heart fluttered in her chest, but she had not the power to still it. Nor did she even want to, because she realized that it's fluttering had everything to do with this stallion that had captured her attentions.

He cocked his head to the side and watched her curiously. So he intrigued her huh? That was why she was blushing so much? It seemed like a good enough answer to him but he, being one who liked to hear what others thought about him, wanted to know more about this intrigue. "Is that so? I intrigue you? And what is it about me that brings this interest on?" he asked with a gentle smile, hoping she would tell him.

Blushing profusely, Alyna answered, "Perhaps it is your smile...your personality...I don't know. I'm not sure exactly why you fascinate me so much. To be honest, I...I've never had feelings like this before." She smiled awkwardly at him, feeling like she just bared her very soul in front of him. Always bold, always fearless, she felt shy and demure in front of Israfel. It was a humbling moment for Alyna, as she realized that there was something that she was afraid of: his rejection. She could no longer say that she was fearless, could no longer be the reckless explorer that she had been.

He cocked his head to the side and listened to her explanation. She blushed even more than she had previously, he noted, and he even caught a bit of a stutter from her. He knew then that this was something she had never felt before and had no idea what to do. Needless to say he was kind of in the same boat. He, too, was intrigued by her and didn't know quite why this was so. "I see. Atleast you are honest and to be honest myself, I don't have a clue either." he said with a chuckle as he flicked his soaked tail. "So I guess we are in the same boat!"

A beautiful smile crossed her face, as she realized that he felt the same confused, yet tantalizing feelings for her that she felt for him. "So...what do we do now?" She asked, her smile dimming a bit as she realized that neither of them knew what to do about their feelings, because they didn't realize what they were. "What's a boat?" She asked suddenly, her ears perked forward curiously.

He watched as she smiled and then noticed it deminish a bit. To be honest he hadn't a clue what to do next since this was something he hadn't really experienced before. He would deffinately have to talk this over with someone back home and get advice. "I don't know what we should do now/" he said and shrugged his shoulders. "Just play along and see what happened I suppose. But you've never seen a boat before? My grandmother's indian girl, Skye, has a small boat she takes out into the river to fish in or to travel in." he tried to explain.
