Mushu just stared at Houndour after he asked the question, quite surprised that it was even asked. "Err, it's hard to explain really. I just kinda knew it?" He said hoping that it was a good enough answer to Houndour's question.

Houndour laughed a little in a semi nervous manor, mostly at his stupidity but also that he should have realized that answer to begin with. "Yeah, what was I thinking, of course you knew. It would be blatantly obvious after all." He rolled his eyes at himself and placed his chin on his paws, he was acting so childish, something he has never done, not even as a pup.

Mushu could tell that Houndour was acting a bit childish over the conversation, but it was expected. "It wasn't always obvious though, the where alot of confusion at first, made some things messed up. But things are better now." He said hoping Houndour would stop acting childish.

"But what if one were to think they were ... " He stopped again and shook his head. "No it's nothing, don't worry about it." He looked around again and let out a sigh, placing his chin back onto his paws. "So how long do you think she'll be out?" He wanted to change the subject for it didn't seem like he was getting too far to begin with anyway.

Still Mushu wondered what else there was to that sentence, even if Houndour wanted to drop the subject. But as soon as Houndour asked another question, the old half question fadded out of his mind. "Hmm, i'm asuming a few hours? Since she hasn't slept in awhile her body is surely tired enough to sleep that long." He said quietly, incase it would wake her.

Houndour nodded for he really didn't care for his question to be answered, he still had other things on his mind. They both sat there in an awkward silence before Houndour couldn't take it any longer and had to say something. "We've been friends for a little while now haven't we?" He was trying to lead up to something in a not-so-obvious way but was probably failing miserably.

Mushu gave a nod, and smiled. "Yes, we have been friends for a little while." Not sure why Houndour asked, Mushu just figured he did it you make sure that they where indeed friends. Or was there another reason? The thought that there might be another reason for the question has Mushu curious.

Houndour looked down at the ground beside him, on the opposite side as Mushu. He took in a deep breath and held it for a moment before releasing with a sigh and closing his eyes. "I think I might be gay/" He couldn't believe he heard himself say this, did it really come from his own mouth. He waited in anticipation and embarrassment to see what his friend had to say about his personal decision.

Mushu was shocked with what he just heard, he wasn't sure what to say. True he's had to tell someone about himself before, but never was he in the kind of situation. "Wow!" He said in shock, still not sure what else to say. "I'm not sure what to tell you." He truthfully said. "But it's good to know that you are being open about your self." Mushu then just smiled, wondering what Houndour would say next.

Still feeling a little embarrassed about his coming out, or possibly trying to, and still wasn't sure what to say. "Well, I'm still not sure about it. I mean, I've never been interested in girls. Actually, they all seem quite annoying to me but I don't say anything." His attraction to females wasn't only about that, he just never found them to be ... attractive. Houndour lifted his head to see what his friend's face was saying to him and put his ears down from being unsure what to think.

Mushu let out a playful laugh to make his friend feel better. "I've never really been attracted to them either, and some are quite annoying." He said with another glance at Flute. "But my best advice is do what feels right, don't let others force you into being one way or another." He said hoping those words would help.

Houndour started to feel a little better about himself, he knew that out of all the Ulayas he knew that Mushu would be the best to talk to about his decision. He noticed that his headache was starting to go away as well, like a heavy weight had been lifted from him. Smiling a little he nodded to his friend's words and started to make a personal note not to mention this to Yin at all.

Mushu sat there and talked to Houndour for the rest of the night about things from their current conversation, and other random things. In the morning during the time Flute woke up they both convinced Houndour to follow them on their adventure around. Or possibly the fact that Houndour wanted to follow as their was a hint of love?
