"What was what for?" He tried to pretend like he didn't hear what she might have said and continue like the conversation hadn't changed. He moved his focus back to Flute who had taken an interest in a beetle that would just as much like to be ignored by the Ulaya. Letting out a laugh at her he looked back at Mushu who seemed distressed. "What's the matter?" He tilted his head with a confused, but not really, look on his face.

Still distressed about the conversation, he flicked his tail. "Did you not hear what she said?" He quickly questioned. "I'm sure you did, even though she said it quietly it was still loud enough to hear. I mean god, she didn't have to announce it that I was gay." He said as he lowered his ears down.
Watching the beetle closely Flute avoided their conversation, and hoped that they wouldn't go near her.

Houndour was confirmed that it was indeed what he heard. He looked back over to Flute who was obviously trying to avoid any more conversation and then back at Mushu who seemed quite irritated. "I thought that was what I heard but I didn't want to assume anything." He suddenly felt himself unsure of what to say, in case gays took everything as an insult or something. "I mean, not like you're obviously ... you know ... " He was starting to stammer, he didn't want to loose his conversation with them for they were interesting and he was quite enjoying himself.

"Not like i'm obviously? No I don't know, all I know is that this conversation is messed up since she blurted out my secret." Still flicking his tail and wiskers. "I do care for her, but she can sometimes do things you don't like and can make you feel bad. I really hope you this doesn't ruin our quick friendship at all. If there was actually a friendship that is, but yeah." He had no idea what he was even trying to say.

Houndour's ears twitched with the amusement of how frustrated he was with her, but then he shook his head and snapped back into place. He was so used to Yin playing pranks on other Ulayas that he learned to get over the annoyance of their personal pain. "It's really, okay. I've been around some stuff a lot worse them being gay, believe me." He wanted to correct himself again but chose not to this time and take his chances upon getting yelled at because, lets face it, he was used to it anyway.

Mushu tilted he head a bit at what Houndour had said. "What kind of stuff?" He asked out of curiousity. As not much was worse for Mushu then those who don't want anything to do with him becuase the way he is.

He thought to himself for a moment whether to speak of Yin or not but then decided that, as ironic as it might be, it could lighten the mood up some. "Well Yin, the god in charge of my pack, isn't all peaches and creme to be around. Being the god of darkness his heart is a black pit of solemn despair." He didn't want to get into it too much, like the cruel stuff he does to others or how he treats the pack members. He respected the god too much to speak too badly about him, for his past with the cold hearted Undulican brings together a strong bond. "Anyway, if you're around that all the time then you're bound to be used to simple things like someone being gay." He let out a nervous laugh and waited for the other one to say something.

Mushu though to him self a bit, what would be like if he was near someone who's heart was a black pit of solemn despair. "Hmm, I can't say i've been around any like that so I would't know how it is. I'm just mainly been around cheery butt over there. We sometime would see other ulaya, but all seemed quite happy. Other than those running from me in all." He said still trying to picture Yin.

Houndour nodded to him and shook his head, at least he didn't know what it was like to be around someone like Yin. It was a relief to Houndour, he greatly hoped that they wouldn't encounter someone like that for their own good. "He's a great Undulican if you know how to be around him, I have devoted my life to working under him. I respect him." He began to loose himself in his own words, in his past with the god and then remembered he was in the company of other Ulayas. "Lets just say he's always been there to protect me." He decided to finish that conversation off on a good note.

Mushu just smiled at what Houndour said. "Well it's good that you have someone there to protect you." He said as he swayed his tail back and forth in joy.
Straying away from the beetle Flute hid behind a rock, and started listening to parts of thier conversationn.

Among all of the bliss from a casual conversation Houndour completely forgot what he was really out of the Mwezi lands for and his eyes grew with the thought of failing his mission. He cleared his throat and raised his body, letting out a yawn and a stretch before licking his lips and standing onto his paws. "I really must get going but I promise, it's not you at all. I was out here to get something for Yin and I had completely forgotten about it until now." He looked over to the spying Flute and smiled again. "This really has been a great conversation, I needed to talk to someone a little more normal then the members of the pack, I thank you." He did a little bow of his head at the two, for it was the polite thing to do.
