. . The Instant Classic . . As far as Christian Cage was concerned, Fox needed to beat HIM to win the title, and in the case of a countout, Cage would retain the championship. Chuckling to himself, he remained in the ring, hands on his hips, just watching him leave. Others would have chased Fox down and dragged him back, but in Cage's head, he felt Fox was undeserving of this match and he had NOTHING to prove to him. . . Christian Cage . .

As Fox had gotten halfway up the ramp and the referee had reached to the count of 5, Fox stopped and seemed to rething what he was doing..
The referee called out ".. 7!"
Time was running out! If he was going to make a decision, it had to be now! So, Fox ran back down the ramp and slid into the ring at the count of 9.

. . The Instant Classic . . Watching as Fox slid back into the ring at 9, Christian was immediately all over him, looking to stomp away into the back of the man's head and shoulders! If successful, he'd try to drag Fox to a stand in hopes to irish whip him toward the ropes! . . Christian Cage . .

Already Fox had begun to regret his decision in coming back, as Cage stomped on his head, shoulders, and back! Fox was soon pulled up to his feet and whipped to the ropes!
Instead, he held the ropes, refusing to play into Cages trap. Fox stepped out onto the ring apron and started toward the turnbuckle.

Fox was ready this time, as he dipped down, pulling the rope and allowing Cage to send himself out of the ring!

Fox dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring, he would approach Cage with two right punches to the head.

. . The Instant Classic . . Christian was at a knee by the time Fox approached him, and the two rights to the head would send the champion teetering backward in a sit against the guardrail behind him .. trying to shake the daze from his head. . . Christian Cage . .

Fox didn't want to give Cage any chance to recover or get any second winds, as he charged forward with a clothesline, intending to send him over the railing and into the laps of the front row audience!

Christian was barely beginning to get upright against the barricade when Fox managed to send Cage over the barricade and onto the concrete of the front row .. laying on his side and propped up on his elbow, still trying to get his mind back in the game. . . Fox was now in a heated rage at Cage! Feeling that he now was in the position to truly teach Cage a thing or two, Fox kept after Cage, going over the railng and ignoring the refs count of four, Fox went ahead to continue pummeling Cage in the head!

. . The Instant Classic . . Beginning to establish his vertical base, Cage would take those rights to the head, wobbling off backward in a stumble further into the crowd. Gritting his teeth and bearing it for now, when he finally got to a stand, Christian would attempt to wrap his arms around Fox's midsection, trying to ram him backward into the guardrailing! . . Despite blow after blow to Cage's head, Fox couldn't keep him down and soon had his back rammed into the guardrailing! He bellowed out in pain and fell to his side, holding his back!
The ref had just counted seven..

. . The Instant Classic . . Looking back up to the ring where the referee was counting, he caught wind of the 7 count and moved back over the barricade to slide back into the ring .. leaving Fox out in the crowd for now! . . Christian Cage . .
