"Mother!" She smiled brightly as she saw her mother. "I come bearing little ones." She looked down when her son scrambled between her legs.
Her eyes widened as she saw the other mare. That was gramdma? She was pretty. "Grandmum?"
She laughed softly and lenaed down so she was more on a level with the little ones. "Hello darlings."

He looked up to the mare standing in front of them before turning his head to look at his mother. "So she's why you're so pretty, Momma?"
"Part of why your mother is as lovely as she is." He nodded slowly. "The other part is because the sunset decided to come and kiss her mane... Which is where you get your splash of color from too."

"I was lucky enough to get even a bit of my mother's beauty." She nudged her son. "How about you come out of there and say hello like a gentleman?"
She fluffed her wings slightly and trotted closer to grandmother.
She looked up at Acheron for a moment. "I'm glad you haven't had that taken out of you yet." Looking back to the little ones she smiled.

He pondered his mother's words for a moment before stepping out from beneath her. He held his head high as he'd seen his father do before before bowing his head politely to his grandmother. "Hello, ma'am. My name's Endymion. It's a pleasure to meet you." He then glanced back at his mother. "... Like that, Mamma?"
"I'll believe that until the day that the sun no longer rises." He chuckled softly, dark eyes gleaming.

"Yes, like that." She nuzzled her son gently. "My little boy, mother, and my little girl Chione." She looked at her daughter.
"Hello..." She smiled and tucked her wings back against her shoulders and looked back at her dad. Shaking her head she looked back at her grandmother. "Did you teach mom all those stories?"
"I did try to tell her a few things." She laughed softly. "Seems like you two have learned a few things from her yourselves"

"Momma and Dah both tell good stories." He nodded slowly before his pale eyes returned to his mother's mother, not really knowing what else to say. What did one say when meeting someone for the first time?
"They're both learning quickly... And so are we." He nodded as well, almost seeming to mime his son's movements from the standpoint of a larger size. "We thought we would bring them to see you for a bit before taking them down to the sea to see my family."

"I had almost hoped that papa would be around. But he's still wandering isn't he?" He was never around when you were looking for him. At least not that she'd ever noticed.
"Ooo...." She wanted to learn stuff like that one day. Maybe she'd have to wander around when she was big like papa.
"I'm afraid he is." She nodded. "Wanderlust struck him again. I will tell him everything about them though, no worries" She looked from her daughter to granddaughter again. "I taught her a few. I'm sure she learned the others from all the wandering around she does"

He turned his head, stretching his neck out so that he could give Kalosyni a gentle nuzzle. "I'm sure he'll meet the little ones some day... We'll be bringing them back, of course. The forest is our home, even if the sea is in their blood."
Pale eyes widened slightly as he looked up to his father. "Is it really, Dah? The sea, I mean. It's in our blood? How'd it get there?" That was news to him, at least... Definitely something to ask questions about.

"Only because the salt gets in your wings." She nuzzled him back. She'd like to stay by the sea more but he did complain about it and she knew too much salt in his wings could hurt.
"The sea?!" Her eyes widened as she looked up with her brother at their papa.
She laughed softly at the little ones. "It looks like they want to go see this ocean you've told them about." She couldnt' keep them here forever after all.

"Mm... And you would miss your mother... And the forest." He nodded slowly, a slight smile curving the corners of his lips. The sea called to him from time to time, as did his own family, but this forest had become their home.
Chuckling he glanced down at his son. "Yes, it is. Your other grandmother, my mother, has lived down by the sea for a very long time with my father."
"Oooh." He thought on that for a moment, pondering just how his father could make things seem so old. "IS that where we're going next?"

"I would." She laughed softly. She loved coming back to the forest and seeing her mother. "Though i do like going down to the sea to visit too. Your family is always so nice" She nudged her mate gently.
"We get to play in the ocean!?!" She loved the stories that her papa had told her about it.
She smiled brightly at the family. It was so good that her daughter had found someone that made her happy. "If the lot of you are headed that direction you should get on your way. Wouldn't want to keep the other grandma from missing time with th elittle ones"

"They like you." He nodded slowly as he returned the nudge. "A good thing... Because I like you." Smiling he turned to look at Kalosyni's mother. "We'll bring them back to visit you again soon. Promise."
His attention then turned towards his daughter. "Yes, you get to play in the ocean... As long as you're careful. My sister will be able to tell you many more stories about the sea. I'm sure she'll even show you where it's safe to play."
"Aunt Ela, right? The one who made friends with the sea creature?" His brow lofted, head tilting as he watched his father.
