"I know! Being of werewolf lineage is no excuse! I'm from the same family line, and I don't act like a total savage." She didn't know Verix very well, but the bad impression had left her to wild assumptions.
"Hmm. I'm not very sure where she is. She could be anywhere! She keeps following Cousin Xanul-san through those black swirly things."

"Ah, you mean those portals?"
It was probable that this Xanul fellow had the same ability to travel that Falx's parents did.
He idly examined his claws.
"Then she really could be anywhere. Pity. All that teleporting about- I'm not sure I approve. You cannot see an appreciate the world as a gentlemen-about-town if you are forever skulking in convenient holes."

"Ah yes. That makes sense." A pause. "Then again, I always wondered why he didn't want to Apparate. He's a wizard after all. It's the Nobody thing, I guess." She waved a paw dismissively.
She frowned. This was a problem indeed. "Perhaps she might be at the HQ? Lots of kitsusagi are about there." She herself didn't really go there much, preferring to keep her adventures away from other kitsusagi's eyes. It was boring just popping in somewhere to see if there was someone she could say hello to, and then find that in fact, no one was there. But this was a mission! To show that niece of hers that it was notright o mess with her, the half-demon, half-witch.

Falx wasn't particularly fussed by the young mademoiselle's bloodline. He could take or leave witches, and of course his darling niece had a quarter pint of demon blood. It was a pity that his elder brother was such a ghastly complainer about his poor, deprived childhood. Falx might see more of his family if the fellow wasn't feuding with their parents.
"I don't believe I've ever been to this... HQ." Falx raised a brow. "It sounds rather pedestrian. Are you certain that's your sort of crowd?"

"Actually, I've never been there. Only heard of it. But people say lots of kitsusagi are there." She sighed and flipped her white hair with a paw. "I don't find it particularly interesting. It's just a hangout. Quite droll, unless you wanna find someone you know there."
Okay, this was another problem, wasn't it? Both of them had absolutely no idea where this HQ was.

"Then why-ever should we go there? It is a perfectly charming afternoon, and I for one would prefer to spend it with a femme of grace and class, than chasing fruitlessly after some violent ragamuffin."
His smile appeared more sincere than any emotionless being's rightfully should.
"Would you care to join me in my search for something interesting to see? I do like a good stroll."

"I guess." She said rather uncertainly. Revenge could take another day, and more practising of her magic did no harm. Besides, she had been informed, or rather had seen the other's wand as well. Hiroyuki had never dueled with another wizard or witch doing magic, and she was certain the other would use some dirty tricks.
"Something interesting?" She peered around. "I don't mind. Once, Harumi-chan and I went to search for mermaids." It hadn't worked out as well as she thought, however.
