He grabs onto her tail. "You can't leave me by myself. You are the first one like me I've seen. I thought I was forever the only one." He continues to cling to her tail not wanting to be left alone again with the insulting pond.

She whinied with surprise, turning quickly to n** at him. "What are you doing!" she jerked her tail trying to free it. "I can't stay forever, I have a family to go home to. Don't you have a family?" She tilted her head, looking curiously at Suelo.
As 'off' as he was, Aglaia liked the idea of having a friend outside of her family...maybe he wasn't -as- bad as he seemed to be at first.

"What is a family?" He looked into her eyes with child-like curiousity. "Is it some kind of food? Or maybe a bigger pond?"

She looked at him, slightly stunned. "You really don't know what a family is?"
She waited for a few seconds..."A mother and father....siblings?" She took two steps closer to him...for the first time, something tugged at her that wasn't her own arrogance.
"Everyone has a family. Somewhere."

"Well..." he stared at her thinking real hard. His thought proccess wasn't the fastest so quite some time elapses during his thinking. Approximately half an hour later give or take he finally responded. "... I can't think of ever knowing a family of my own."

Aglaia stood there in silence until he answered her, her jaw almost dropping when he said he had no family. "I couldn't imagine not having a family..."
She stood there, then looked back towards the direction which she came from then back to Suelo. "You're coming with me." She said rather demandingly.
She knew Scythe and Tuli wouldn't mind her bring a friend home...she'd just have to think of a good reason why she was gone in the first place. "You can be my family."

Her ears flickered and she stopped suddenly in her tracks. Had he just told her no?
"You can't stay out here by yourself. What will you do if a Kalona shows up?....or even worse, a skinwalker?"
Her tone came across as if she actually knew what she was talking about, but she had only heard bits of Scythe and Tuli talking of these mean breeds.

"Are those types of food and are they tasty?" He didn't move from the spot where he was curious now about this possibly new food stuffs. "And why can't I stay all by myself?"

Aglaia looked over to Suelo and laughed, "No they're not food. They're other soquili...." she stopped for a minute, she didn't know much about them. "You can't stay by yourself, my Uncle Scythe says that Kalona and Skinwalker EAT foals!" She looked around carefully as she talked about the other breeds.
"What will you do if they try to eat you?"

"Well...", he looked at her because he came up with a great answer in his mind, "..I'd ask them why they wanted to do it and continue to question them until they get bored and run away. I am sure that will work."

"I doubt it. It would probably only make them eat you faster so you'd shut up."
She laughed and looked down the path leading back towards her family.
"I've got to be heading back soon. Won't you at least come meet my family? You might like them."

"What if your family tries to eat me? Is that why you want me to meet them?" His eyes went wide while questioning wondering why she wanted him to meet her family.
