Niki smiled at the boy and prodded her daughter until the girl muttered something back about it being okay. The woman watched the other mother get her kid to stand and managed to get her daughter to follow suit. "Hi..." Allete muttered back to the boy. She wanted to just go home now...

Jayoku gave a nod of approval. SHe would have to figure out a way to teach those limbs of his to behave. If it was even possible...
Adriel stood there awkwardly, it didn't look like the girl wanted to be his friend. He felt very bad about the whole inncident. Looking down at his purple limbs he frowned at them as if he was angry at them and they sulked at his side.
"Um...di..di..d..you..still...want to play?" he asked hoping the girl would accept, "I promise I won't get too close..." he added quickly.

Allete shuffled her feet for a moment, hoping that her mother wouldn't make her stay and play. This playing thing could hurt! She liked sleeping or watching TV so much more. But, when she looked up at Niki, the woman's face read 'Play or you'll get no TV.' so the girl nodded. "O'tay."

Adriel forced a smile, glad to hear to girl accept.
"Um...do you want to swing the swings? Or is there another game you would like to play?" He asked being polite. He loved the swings, when he was alone he could go so high! It was almost like flying. He longed to fly...he envied most of the kids he came across who had wings.
Jayoku gave a sigh of relief thank godness. No perminant damage. She turned to Nikiana and gave a half smile.
"I'm sorry again, he really is a good boy."

"Swings are fun!" Allete liked the swings. After a bit of initial work, you could swing back and forth with little effort. Score! The girl nabbed the closest swing and plopped herself onto the seat.
Niki smiled a bit. "Kids bounce back quickly..." Sometimes, she swore that her children were made of rubber...

Adriel looked hopeful as Alette decided it was indeed time time to try and fly high on the swings. The poor boy moved to the swing next to her and sat down on it. His tentacles, (who also enjoyed the swings) grasped the chain's on either side to firmly attach the boy to the seat.
He then started to lean back and forth and pump his legs to get in motion. He gave a giggle, he did so love the swings.
Jayoku relieved the delima was over was hesitant to move away despite the fact everything seemed to have calmed down. But it felt like she was intruding on their game at the same time...
"Yes...some kids do bounce back rather quickly." She commented, Adriel wasn't one of them usually. He tended to sulk a lot if something went wrong.

Allete giggled as her friend giggled and she got the swing going a bit higher. This was actually kinda fun... she was glad her mom had dragged her out here. It was work, unlike watching TV, but she liked it too.
Niki smiled at the two kids. Allete was finally doing something besides sitting about. She was glad. The woman debated for a moment, then went to sit back on the bench. She was a bit worried about a repeat incidence, but her feet wouldn't take standing around just waiting for it to happen.

Adriel seemed to loosen up at the sounds of his comrade giggling as well. This was awesome, he was having fun, his tentacles were kinda behaving now. And the girl didn't seem to be angry with him anymore. This was turning out to be an okay day it seemed.
"Lets see how high we can go!" Adriel called out happily.
Jayoku looked as Nikiana moved to sit back down, she hesitated only a moment before following. She didn't like leaving Adriel alone after incidents like this. But the girl seemed to be fine and Adriel was now having fun...so there was no need to worry right?

Alette grinned. "Alright!" She pumped her legs harder to make herself fly higher and higher on the swing. If only her wings could make her fly, she could launch herself right off this swing. That would be fun!

Adriel eager to not be beat inhis challange pumped his legs harder. It was a lot of fun, but also a bit scary. He needn't worry about falling...his tentacles had a firm grip on the chains.
Higher and higher he went he watched from the corner of his eye to see how Alette was fairing. He wanted to keep up with her, though he had no real desire to beat her in this game.

Allete was pumping her legs hard and was swinging fairly high. She laughed and glanced over at Adriel, curious to see if she was beating him or not. When she saw that he was rather level with her, she kicked harder, trying to go much much higher!

Seeing that she was now trying to beat him he slowed down a bit...it was getting to that scary height anyway. At the point where it feels like gravity was going to just yank you off the swing just for the hell of it.
Besides he let his legs rest a bit as he just rocked back and forth so he didn't end up to a complete stop. This was fun. He was glad Alette didn't hate him.

Allete glanced over at the boy again and, realizing that he wasn't trying as hard anymore, took it to mean that she'd won. With a grin, she relaxed, letting the swing's momentum carry her for some time. After that work, the rest was easy to keep the swing going, just shifting her weight every now and then and perhaps pumping her legs a couple of times. But it could go for a long time like this.

Adriel allowed himself to slow down quite a bit. He found it hard to talk when he was pumping hard. Besides bugs in his mouth was possibly the most disgusting thing he heard of.
"Allete....what..do you like to do ? FOr fun I mean." the shy boy asked hoping she still wasn't angry with him. She didn't look to be...but then again looks could be decieving.

Allete glanced over at the boy, her answer coming rather quickly. "Watch TV." That was all she really ever wanted to do. She let the swing die down on its own, screeching out at her mother. "Moooooom! I played! Home now?"
Niki reached up to massage her temples. Oiy. Why did she have such embarassing children? With a sigh, she got up and headed towards the swings. "Why don't you play more...?" She suggested, which earned her a glare from the child. "Fine, fine. At least say bye to your friend..."
