He smiled at her, "You didnt ruin anything..Its hot today too.." He cast a dirty look at the sky, "We should go to the river..But momma says it still to cold.." He shifted his wings a bit, "Maybe a rest and then we can play again?" His ears perked as she mentioned the rock got in her way.
He spun around on his hooves, and glared a nasty glare at the rock. "How dare you get in the way of my friend! You coulda hurt her somethin awful! Shame on you rock!" And with a kick of his hind leg, he kicked the rock away from them.
Smiling at Lina he tilted his head, "Now the rock wont bother you anymore..Why is it a weird word?" he asked with an arched brow.

Lina giggled as he kicked the rock away and nodded at his suggestion. "Thanks and sure a rest sounds good. Where are we gonna rest? We probably can't go too far or else my daddy might get worried so we should stay around here somewhere. There's shade under a tree over there!" she shouted happily as she started making her way over to the shady area.
She shrugged at his question though. "I don't know, it just sounded weird. I've heard of rainbow but now rainbowfied so I guess just cause it's a new word for me it sounded strange. But as long as it doesn't mean anything mean I don't mind," she smiled and plopped down in the cool grass. "Feels nice in the shade, doesn't it?"

"The tree was a good idea.." He flopped down, but laughed as Sophia rolled onto her back and began to wiggle around.
"No no, I wouldnt call you anything mean.." He shook his head, his tuff of mane shaking with his head. "The shade is very nice, specially with all this black..my granddad says that black attracts the sun like flowers do bees.." He wasnt really sure what that meant, but it sounded smart to him.
"Yeah, if we'd went to far, my momma would have been worried too.." He shakes his head with a faint roll of his eyes, he was a big boy...right?

"Hmm if black attracts the sun does that mean white pushes the sun away? So I push the sun away from me?? That's not good, I want to be warm toooo." She flopped over and huffed as she lay on her side, looking out across the field that was lit up but the sunlight. It really was getting close to the warm season with every passing day. Daddy had called it summertime and that even the nights were warm. She couldn't wait to go swimming just like he'd promised her.
"I think it's a mommy and daddy thing. They always worry about stuff especially about us. Cause we're little and can't do things right...Or something like that. But we could do just fine on our own, right?" she asked him as she pawed at his head lightly.

"No, I dont think white pushes it away...but I think it deflects it better..yeeah! Thats it..deflects.." He grinned, his wings ruffled slightly as he was rather proud of the large word he'd just used.
"Summer is coming, my mother says that every couple dozen moons that an old spirit takes its hold of the land, that they are called seasons.." He shook his head, thinking his mother to be silly.
As she pawed at his head, he grinned up at her, "Yeah we are doing just fine!" He tossed his mane a bit, stretching his hooves out at her.

Lina blinked at him curiously with a tilt of her head. "De..flect? What's that mean? Is it bad?? I should stay out of the sun, shouldn't I?!" Even though she was already in the shade she ducked her head under his wing, peeking out a little, waiting to see if she was going to die or not.
"We should go off on an adventure, just to show them we can handle ourselves all by ourselves...Though we'd probably get in trouble. And they can see us right now so they'd probably chase us down before we got away. Do you have any other ideas?" she asked as he peeked up at him curiously.
