"Way ahead of you!" Sorin called putting on a burst of speed.
Korai patiently took up the rear, keeping an eye on the others as they ran.

Irvine followed Sorin in putting on speed, leaping over any obsticles.
Arron followed suit though was a little behind his brothers.

"Wahoo!" Sorin laughed falling in step with Irvine. "And Korai throught this was a bad idea!"

Deep within the woods an evil force wakened, hissing at the laughter that disturbed her rest. "I thought those stupid ponys had learned by now..." the vampire Sangula growled as she rose herself. Nearby, a huddled ball of black and red shook as the baby dragon woke up, unaware of the disturbances. "Come," Sangula said sharply stalking towards the cave exit. "There is work to be done."

Arron slowed in his run, feeling the earth beneath his hooves. Something just didn't feel right about the forest they were in. Keeping in mind he foreward it to Korai, concerned about their whereabouts.
Irvine was oblivious to anything harmful around them as he ran around with his brother, grinning laughing and simply enjoying a day off from having to train.

I feel it also, Korai sent back catching up with the youngest brother. "We'll remain vigil," he said quietly, arching an eyebrow as he heard the other whoop and cheer from up ahead. "And keep an eye on them..."
"Hey!" Sorin grinned nodding towards a high rising mountain. "Race you to the top!"

"Alright..." He nodded and glanced at the racing brothers with instinct ringing in his head.
Irvine grinned. "You're on!" And bolted for the top.

"Alright!" Sorin laughed chasing after his brother, careful of the loose rocks and pebbles that slid under Irvine's footing.

Sangula sniffed the air, easily picking out the scents of the intruders. There were four of them. They were not normal earth ponys, she knew that quickly, they were something else and ... young.

"Come on Sorin! Keep up!" He teased, carefully shifting his weight so he wouldn't loose his footing.

"Well I would if you'd stop kicking rocks back at me!" Sorin called back making a bold leap to a ledge above them, taking the lead in their race. "HA!"

"Come on," Sorin laughed grinning back. "We're suppose to be making use of our environment!"
At the base of the mountain, Korai paused, looking around, his eyes trying to penetrate the woods to find the danger that lurked unseen.

Arron studied the earth while Korai watched the above. "It's dark...full of hatred..."

"What good is training if the elements can overtake you?" Sorin asked leaping ahead.
"That's the nature of this land," Korai said quietly.

"The land itself or those that live on it? It doesn't want us here, Korai." Arron murmured, watching his other two brothers.
Irvine smirked. "We're also suppose to be one with the elements."

"Oh yes, I am one with all of nature..." Sorin said keeping a peaceful and serene face until he bursted out laughing.
"It's all the same thing, really," Korai said as he looked around again. Something was watching them.
