I think part of the problem is the lack of unified guild theme that makes this forum more like a harder-to-reach chatterbox than anything else. There's no sense of community. I know that's frustrating, but threatening everyone who doesn't have any ideas on how to overcome that isn't going to create any camaraderie, either.

I know that you are upset, but I just can't take it. I work SO HARD here. I try everything. I put time and money into making subforums so that you aren't bored, and this doesn't feel like another Chatterbox. I try to make contests and give you guys ideas on what to do. Hardly any of you care.
This guild has been through a lot. It started out as a video game guild, changed into an FMA guild, than a guild about apples (shut up xD), and now a charity. I'm starting to come up with ideas on what it will be next. That's harsh, and I know I was harsh before, but I can't TAKE IT. You couldn't either. I've deleted members and had them argue about me on "they didn't have time and were going to post tomorrow." Okayyyy, well you never posted before, so why waste your time tomorrow, anyway?
If when you were online, you came here instead of the forums, this guild would be a lot better. You have a few weeks to prove that it shouldn't be deleted. If you prove me wrong, it will stay. If you keep up this lowsy behavior, wave bye-bye.

I don't understand why it being slow (all of the guilds I'm in here are slow - because they are so cut off from the main forum) is such a big problem. If you would rather not deal with it anymore, though, since it does seem to upset you (for which I am very sorry) I would be willing to take the guild if you like. Or were you planning on trying to turn it into another sort of guild in the hopes it would be more active?

Something is wrong. I do come here every time I'm online, but I find that the last post was always by me. What happened all of a sudden? There was a rush of users and now poof. sad GUYS!!! COME BACK TO THE FORUM!

18luck, that's what I'm thinking too. =(
I was happy for a while when it seemed many people who just joined this guild would be active here. Well, they were active for a couple of days and then they disappeared! gonk It makes me sad because I'd like this guild to continue and am posting always when I have time.
I also think this guild is better than Chatterbox, because here everyone gets along with each other, and that's why this lack of active users and fear of this guild quitting makes me even more sad.
So, Goomba, if you decide to quit with the guild, which I somehow do understand, you could perhaps consider leaving it for someone else, just like Rasabon suggested?

I doubt that I will cancel the guild. If I do, it will be sad, but people will get over it. I LOVE giving back to communities and helping people with things they need. It's really fun and it makes me feel better at the end of the day. Even if it's only Gaia, SO MANY people ask for help in their quests, and often aren't helped much. We have a list of 50 or more people that is held by xjamesx1234. Each person has an amount of gold next to their name. The list grows each week, and if the posts of the users on the list don't grow each week, they don't get their prizes. I want people to be here and post because they have fun and want to EARN gold.
I know that people come here for the free gold, but I don't want it to be free. Most posting that goes on is simply a chore so that people don't get kicked off. I recently had a huge fight with an exuser in PM's to the point I almost got her banned. She was a user for about three months and NEVER posted. I finally banned her, and she said she was going to post the next day and she had been busy. That was complete bullshit! (Excuse my language). You can call me mean for threatening stuff, but you cannot call me unfair. I have probably 10 warnings that you will be banned and reported if you aren't an active user. I say that when you request to join and say "SEATURTLES ROCK!" you are promising to follow MY RULES. I've also warned her a number of times. I'm sick of it.
PS: I don't know if I'm just going to give it away for free. That's sad coming out of the mouth of an owner of a charity guild, but I'll probably sell it. If the new owner uses my idea for the guild, it will be 25k. If they use all my threads, banners, etc. then it will be between 40-50k, mostly because I wasted a lot of time and gold making them/paying other people to make them. I definitely will try to keep it a charity, though.

yeah i hope that it doesnt end up closing, i like the fact of giving it to someone else who can deal with it, and to me it seems like your having a hard time with this guild, sorry to hear about the big fight, im glad she is banned from here, we need more people that talk!!
yeah im on gaia every day, but i dont come here every day because i never see any new posts/subjects.. ect.. but i try to come at least 4 times a week... but its hard to ewhen your caught up in things, and nothing is ever updated....

I have been a member for about 1 or 2 days and I have already posted more than 50 times!

Harsh, but I understand. I had to do that with my guild because no one was active at all. And it really get on my nerves that no one is as active still...
