Ah yes a language used in the country that started 419 scams! xd
For the record, the majority of Nigerian scams are actually by the Dutch, whose scammers apparently like picking on Nigeria.
xD Really? Why do they like to do that?
419 is a law in Nigeria that outlaws obtaining money under false pretenses. The scam has reached to countries such as Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Senegal, Togo, South Africa (not very common), Ivory Coast, The Netherlands, The UK, The USA (Yes, there are lads here too), Spain, France and Suriname. There are many variations of the scam. They USUALLY will try to scam you in English(97% of the time) or French.
Eccentric: I'm a member a 419 eater. Trust me there are a lot of them still in Nigeria not to say that you're wrong. Of course not all Nigerians are scammers. Hence those funny emails you get from them. We also track their Ip addresses.
They do use Igbo to communicate with each other in their English
Examples are "Na" It is and Dey (is/are form to be verb).
Now I heard some sound files on this website and I find it to be a quite beautiful sounding language.
