Also finding most, mainly my own asleep, I agreed, "Alright, we will go sleep, and of course we will meet again soon." half leviating, and half trying to use my wings, I lead the Gritious clan back to my island of stone and trees.

Several weeks later:


Kiti sits on a boulder in the shallows of the ocean, feet dipping into the ocean. She stared off into the horizon, worried. Her brother had sent news once again, their favorite starlost enemy, King Kirr, had been working very hard to train all of his followers to fight- which was disturbing. They were also preparing the ship the Kitsus had left in their waters. She was waiting for others, most of her Kitsu-Usas gathered around her. Siempre, her loyal companion, was seated next to her. Kaenae and Kesson, her newest little honeybat boys, were tucked safely away in her bag. Mirili was curled around her wrist almost like a bracelet, and Airinai was curled on her head, of all places. Her dragons seemed peculiar, and almost annoying, in that they needed to be attached to her most of the time. Lieben and Fuji, though very close by, were actually for once enjoying themselves without Kiti's involvement, flying and swimming a little farther offshore. Kasou was sitting on the shore, metallic grey eyes shining dangerously. She had begun the journey to the beach willingly, but somewhere between the portal jump and the drop off the very high cliff lingering above them, her clear blue eyes had changed to this icy shade, and she had a change of heart. "You're such a b***h," she had spat at Siempre, strong words coming from a puff, and not words the lead female had much appreciated. Even though Kasou did not technically look to her clan, she had not hesitated to leave her pawprint on Kasou's little cheek, as a reminder that all elders were to be respected, not only one's own clan leads. Kasou had opted to stay onshore, keen to stay away from the strict gray and violet b***h.

"You think it would be wiser to stay here, Redin? I was planning to meet them with another ship. I wanted to speak with everyone today about what to do about it. Our enemies are slow and clumsy, not a terrible threat, but I don't like the threat of their approach leering over us. I want to take care of it, immediately."

She waved her hand and a ship rose out of the water, larger than the first by far. A dragon's head sat at the bow of the ship, carved of a deep red wood, and the dragon's body sank into the water along the front. The dragons wing made up the sides for the higher part of the deck.

"Oh of course," she says, it made sense. "I wonder where Imoto is, I was hoping she would join us." She steps across the water lightly to her ship. It was huge, she planned to have room for the dragons to sleep on the way there. Her Siempre padded across the water after her.

Slowly Kiti's Kitsu-Usas gather at the shore. Even the ones who had still been in the shop, were making their way though the portal and down to the shore. They stand in a clump, determining who should go with Kiti, and who should stay behind to watch over the pregnant Kitsu-Usas, and the puffs, and the shop itself. The puppy Tenshi-Usa, her fur shimmering with her own inner shadows, was the first to step forward. A moment later, her tiny aunts, Mouse and Tragety's Wing, fluttered forward to her. They wanted to stay near their mother, Siempre.

Etoile, Siempre's grandson, also stepped forward, followed by Meriamne the unicorn, Alexandria, Sariia, and Miracle.

All of the dragons swept onto the ship itself. The Kitsu-Usas fluttered- or in Meri's case, dashed- across the water to the ship.

(*smile* That's my Siempre, she's my baby. Maybe, but your first Kitsu-Usas are dragons!)

After settling her puffs in the cabin, she comes up behind Red. "Are we ready, Redin?"

(Ok, I did an anthro pic of your Blumen... I'm no good at boys... at least not straight ones. I also did Kasou Gritious, and my Etoile- who is a boy... but i had a model (little bro) and Etoile looks gay, which he is, mostly. I'll still be a while in posting them but know that I'm working on her.)

She laughs softly at her dramatic younger brother, and reclined in a hammock that seemed to appear from nowhere. The ship began to move, a strong wind slowly blowing them in the right direction. This was how she planned on steering most of the way there. Most of the time she didn't have much control over the wind or rain, but out here, in the middle of nowhere, there was no power to challenge her will, except maybe Redin's, but why would he want to challenge her?

She wasn't too concerned with armour at the moment. Though it wouldn't take them near as long to get there as it did for the Kitsus to get there last time, she knew she would have plenty of time to prepare herself and her companions. Honestly, she wasn't as keen on this battle stuff as she knew Redin was, but this had to be done, to protect her home and loved ones.

The journey was long, and boring. After a few days, Kiti was missing her little sister and her friends. She spent most of her time with her babies. Her Kitsu-Usas were great companions, since all of them had near-human minds. They loved her just like her kids did, they were her family.
