((One thing... Bonedragon: The wolf is about the same size as a large horse....So Liah wouldn't be taller. I didn't make it too extremely obvious, just for future reference.))
Liah approached the shack. She knew that the large crowd of people was there by Asteria's and Damon's warning, but she was still taken aback. She had just automatically assumed that there wouldn't be this many people accepting the challenge.
'Be careful Liah, these people have power. I can sense it.' Came Asteria's wise and knowledgeable voice.
Liah nodded and continued on, aware that Damon was even more tense than before. Though she was just a human, she was able to keep up with Damon's long strides easily and they made it to the house in good time. 'I'm sure this is the right place.' She thought to herself. She looked over at Damon and he nodded, not even needing to communicate with thoughts to know what she was thinking. 'Asteria, could you stay up in they sky for a bit longer? I think you'd better keep a look out for now.' Not waiting for a reply, nor needing one, Liah walked the last few yards to the waiting group, making sure to stay far enough away so as not to interrupt.

Zen walked quickly past the guard at the gate that lead into the city. Then he proceeded to look for the red building that he was supposed to be looking for. There were three. Which one? he thought to himself. Zen was currently in human form. The only thing that would show that he was a dragon was his white tail. Zen had enough sense to wrap his tail around his waist and put on a large shirt before coming into town. He didn't know how others would react to a creature like him. If no one knew he was a dragon, the better. And he was planning on keeping it that way. That building looks too heavily guarded. I'm probably not allowed there he thought to himself as he looked at the first building that was guarded by two guards. I'd really rather not go into a tavern. Bad idea on my part he thought as he looked over to The Sleepy Owl. "I'll go to that one." he said pointing out the final building with red top that was far away from the others.

((That is one big wolf... What kind of dog food you feed that thing? rofl jk jk.))
Jason would looked into the tree, seeing that the elf was now awake. Her watching the others gave him the impression that she didn't wish to be found by all of them so Jason quickly turned his head towards the towns entrance.
He caught a glimpse of a man in the distance but it seemed the man was tending to avoid everyone. Upon closer examination of the torso, he found that there was a bulge that ran around his waist under the large shirt he wore. It seems that he was either a hybrid of a human with another species, or he was a shape shifter that liked to keep on a tail... Or maybe even more than that. Jason would then merely look at the growing crowd of people around him and started to think, "Did everyone receive an invitation?"

Alwyn walked into the town past the guards not even looking at them as she did so. She saw the three red roofs. She decided on the one at the very end further away then the others. That and many people seemed to be around that one. She was rather surprised to find so many there and so many of such different race. She made her way to the tree and found a spot to sit resting her head in her hands appearing to be thinking. With her occupation it wasn't wise to draw much attention to herself. In truth she was really looking at everyone else seeing what she could discover about them.

Ramiel snorted a small puff of smoke from his nostrils as he came in view of the city, his face covered by the red hood of his cloak. All that could be seen of him was his deep yellow eyes, maintaining a look that usually made people avoid him.
Walking towards the gate the guards brought down their spears in an X pattern to block Ramiel's path, however that didn't go so well for the two mortal men. The two quickly fell over as Ramiel continued on, pushing the spears away as he passed. The two large, well built men starred down the street in surprise as Ramiel's red cloaked figure disappeared into the ground.
As he stepped through the crowd he stopped for a moment and starred at the ancient oak from a fair distance "What are you up to old man" He muttered to himself before continuing on.
when he reached the tree and the old house he took one look at the beings crowded around it and turned away, heading towards the porch of the old house. Turning to the doorway, the old door hanging off one of its hinges, he placed a hand to his mouth and yelled loudly "Get up yeah old fart their here" He barked, his voice carrying a growl at its end.
The house seemed to creak slightly after Ramiel's harsh yell, dust trailing and cracking from the roof above the porch.
"Ho ho ho, so they are" A clear and serene voice said from inside. Within a few moments, an old man, clothed in shinning silver plate armor emerged, leaning heavily on a wooden cane. His appearance gave the impression that one wrong wind could cause the mans body to collapse in on itself.
He man turned to the travelers, both hands on his cane "Ah, please come in, don't stay out her in the cold" He said, his voice showing his age heavily. "Come Ramiel, help an old duffer inside" He said taking hold of the red cloaked mans arm; for a split second it seemed more like the elder was pulling Ramiel inside rather then getting assistance.
Once inside the travelers would find the old man sitting in a large, cushy char in a room by the door. The room itself appeared to be surprisingly large and good shape considering the size and condition of the house. "Please, sit and I shall explain all to you"

Liah's eyes had followed the new arrival as soon as he appeared into view. Asteria had been quick to warn her about the approaching stranger which Liah was great full for. Ever since she was a small child she always hated being surprised. It might have been rude of her to stare, but she couldn't help it. The two people seemed to know each other. After the small exchange, the old man headed back inside the small cabin with the help of the stranger. 'Damon, I think you should wait here.' She said soothingly, knowing there would be a protest. She hoped he would consent, she didn't want to have to order him to stay outside. To her surprise, the large wolf nodded solemnly. Asteria, however was more adamant about her security.
'I'm coming with you.' Her long time friend announced as she soared closer to the ground and prepared to land.
Liah sighed and put her gloved hand up so that Asteria could gracefully land. 'I guess I can't stop you.' She said with a slight smile, knowing perfectly well that she had the power to. Asteria ruffled her feathers indignantly and chirped once. Still smiling, she shifted her companion so that she was sitting on her shoulder instead. Without another word to anyone else, she took a deep breath and followed the other two into the run down looking cabin.

Jason nearly jumped back as he heard Ramiel yell, but had kept his composure as he watched the door open. As the door swung open, Jason proceeded with caution and then walked over towards a table that had many chairs around it. Jason took a chair that was close to the door so he could run if he needed to. Jason then placed both hands upon the table, showing that he was not holding a weapon.

Zen entered into the old man's house with the others. He decided to stand and allow everyone else to have a seat. "Wow. Nice place." he said looking around the room. The arrangement of the furniture and the good condition of the inside gave a sort of pleasant feel to the house.

Sintariun, jerked slightly as another newcomer yelled to someone and saw an old man. An aura around the mortal compelled the elf to want to follow. Gasping softly, the elf was surprised that she could understand what the mortal was saying, the elf listened intently. Watching as more joined then all followed the two into a house, the elf lightly landed on her feet and made her way towards the shack house.
Pulling her hood over her head to try and hide her ears and eyes to not gain attention, Sintariun entered and was mildly surprised at the vast space and the homeliness of the place. Her purple gaze went to those around her and she muttered under her breath, Hwod zdlomji lokiz wili, E hamtil hwod dwiu oli orr wili fal... Sintariun was pretty sure that all of them were summoned like she was just not the reasons why they wanted in.
Her gaze flicked up to see rafters overlooking the room and she swiftly jumped onto one and gazed down at the others.
(What strange races here, I wonder what they are all here for...)

Sari just shrugged. She didn’t care what he was doing here, she was just being polite. When she removed her attention from the man she looked around to see that more people had arrived. She was the shortest one among the group of people, and it embarrassed her slightly. “Orbis caligo.” She said quietly. A small disk of dark matter arose from the ground beneath her, lifting her higher as it went up. It stopped rising when it had lifted her about a foot of off the ground.
Then the old man came out and spoke. She made the disk move into the house and continued to stand on the disk. The darkling on her shoulder hopped of her shoulder and began to bounce around the room. It saw a bird on a woman’s shoulder and went to investigate. It bounced from the furniture to the girls shoulder, and then to her head. It continued bouncing on the girls head, looking at the bird. Sari ignored the creatures action, deciding to let it have some fun.

At the sight of the small, dark creature, Liah stiffened and grabbed at her knife which lay safely in it's sheath. Before she could draw it, Asteria stopped her.
'Don't.' She warned through the connection only Liah could understand. 'I'm not sure what it is...but it might be best not to try and kill it....'
Liah nodded, but was extremely irritated that the little thing was bouncing on her head. She decided to reason with it. What was there to lose? "Um. Could you get off my head, please?" She wasn't sure what the heck she was doing, but she was a Beast Master. Maybe her persuasion would work on it.

Zen looked around at the others that were in the room. Some may have been even stranger than he was. There was one girl that had raised her height with some sort of disk and letting some creature bounce on the head of another person who had a bird on her shoulder. Then there was the person that had jumped up into the rafters for some reason who was keeping a hood up to cover her face. But the one that he kept looking at was the man with the strange eyes. They were somewhat...familiar. Strange. There were definantly more than one race in this room. Zen sniffed the air for a moment. His dragon senses were still working even in human form. He could smell that several of the people in the room were not human. But that was to be expected.

"Well, now that you have all entered, or at least the majority of you, allow me to explain a few things" The old man said standing up. With great easy he tossed the cane to the side having it land on a small hook, and he appeared to be...growing? Yes, he was indeed growing. His hieght and muscle mass increased as a bright white and gold magic circled around him. His face smoothed and his silver hair grew in length. Within moments where once stood an old man, now stood a strong, barrel chested youth, looking no older then 27.
"Greetings to you all, excuse the disguise, but the outside world is not quite prepared for what I am as it once was. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ovan, one of the four guardians of the heavens, or should I say one of the former guardians" He said, his voice ans soothing and serene as a lake, the surface unbroken.
"I'm sure you must all have many questions, but I'm afraid those can wait. First let me explain why I have asked you here, however I must do one thing first" Ovan gave a slight grunt after saying this before a pair of snow white wings spread from his back, folding almost immediately as to not take up much space "Ah, much better, now, onto business. The reason I have brought you here is of dire importance. It pertains to this worlds current state. I speak of course of the endless veil of twilight."
Bringing his hand to his mouth Ovan seemed to clear his throat before continuing, when he next spoke his voice rang clear through the room, almost seeming to draw those within it to hear his every word "Long ago, as I'm sure many of you know, the world was cast into Twilight by a dark and powerful being. The being's power however did not come from natural means, but a once sacred object. In using the object he cast a horrific fate upon us all, for you see this Twilight is slowly deteriorating the world, destroying it bit by bit. The only thing that can fix this is the item itself, however at the moment that has become impossible"
"After the item was used it was locked away, its seven key's scattered to the four winds. These keys are what I wish for you to find. They are known as the seven elemental orbs, you must gather them. I do not know the exact location of all the orbs, however as you progress through your journey I shall tell you what I've discovered thus far. Now...are there any questions? And I believe it would be best that you all introduce yourselves to one another since you'll be traveling together from here on out....and for the great spirits sake take off your hood already Ramiel, I know you don't like this but it must be done!" Ovan said, glaring side long at Ramiel who at current stood on the opposite side of the room from everyone else
"Fine fine" Ramiel said, growling slightly as he lowered his hood. Once lowered, his hood revealed what looked to be a young, unusually handsome man, though his features were hardened by what most would assume to be years of battle.
Looking at the others Ramiel sighed and spoke "As you have already heard my name is Ramiel, my age, origins and species however are none of your damn business" He said with a slight growl at the end, his eyes shooting a quick glare at Ovan before turning back to their watchful gaze over everyone else.

Mah dwemjz oli jiddemj emdilizdemj... Sintariun muttered to herself as she sat on the beam and listened to what her people called the high humans. Listening intently because she could understand, the elf nodded as if she'd heard this before. Legends of this tale had been passed thru the ages but never had been considered realistic.
Hearing the man tell the one beside him to move his hood, Sintariun raised an eyebrow then saw that he did. In respect for host and almost as a salute to the one told to remove his hood, Sintariun did the same. Hearing the part about introducing each other, the elf's eyes widened slightly, she couldn't speak mortal, only elven, this was going to be slightly difficult.
(Now things are getting interesting...)
